The 2025 RAICOM Robotics Developer Competition AI Vision Application National Finals concluded at Shenzhen Technology University, where students from Nanchang University of Technology’s School of Computer Information Engineering excelled, achieving remarkable results! In the intense national finals, our students won a total of 7 national-level awards, including 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 5 third prizes.

The RAICOM Robotics Developer Competition (RAICOM) has been held since 2015 and has been selected multiple times in the “National College Student Competition Analysis Report” published by the China Higher Education Association, becoming an authoritative event with significant scale and influence in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence in China. The AI Vision Application competition focuses on the application of AI vision detection technology in real production scenarios, assessing and evaluating through multi-dimensional aspects such as scene construction, model training, and deployment, thereby enhancing students’ understanding and practical abilities in artificial intelligence technology. This year’s competition attracted nearly 400 teams from 124 universities across 22 provinces in the country, with over 1,000 participants, covering various industries including industry, agriculture, healthcare, education, food, and transportation.
The achievement of these results is inseparable from the strong support of the school and the hard work of the students. By optimizing deep learning models and improving visual detection accuracy, the team achieved significant results in training and deployment efficiency. Solid professional knowledge and innovative thinking helped the students stand out in fierce competition. This achievement fully reflects the effectiveness of our school’s deep implementation of the “promoting learning and teaching through competition” concept, continuously driving the enhancement of students’ innovation capabilities and practical skills through competitions.
