“Today is sunny turning cloudy, feeling comfortable. Your health index is92 points, blood pressure142/91—slightly high, pulse58—normal, fasting blood sugar4.3—normal,it is recommended to control your morning run speed at8.5 minutes per kilometer.”The voice of the housekeeper robot, Xiao Ai, is warm and clear.
During the morning run, the smart watch informs the running speed, blood pressure, and pulse parameters every minute and suggests speed adjustments.
After returning from the morning run,Xiao Aihands over a towel and adjusts the water temperature to41℃. Then she takes the clothes Sailor has taken off for washing. The shower is assisted by mechanical arms for back scrubbing, leg muscle massage, and drying, using hot air to dry. After coming out of the shower, Xiao Ai brings the replacement clothes in the order of wearing.

The cooking systemhas completed breakfast preparation, fully configured nutrition according to physical monitoring information and adjusted taste according to Sailor’s preferences. Sailor eats while watchingthe holographic news on the dining table.
After breakfast, Sailor goes to the balcony to do Baduanjin. Outside the window, the once congested streets now only have self-driving eco-friendly cars moving in an orderly manner, and logistics robots on aerial tracks accurately deliver packages. Most of the former office buildings have been transformed into public learning spaces and art exhibition halls, with only a few buildings marked with“AI Regulatory Commission”still retaining office attributes.
As a researcher of the“Human Value Exploration Association,”Sailor’s job is to record the changes in human spiritual life in the AI era, which is one of the few professions still requiring human participation. At 9 AM, Sailor opens the data terminal, and the complex data organization and analysis have already been completed byAI. He only needs to inject emotional interpretation and humanistic thinking.“Sailor, the report you submitted last week, “AI Era Youth Psychological Report” has been approved, and the reward in consumption currency has been credited to your account.”The terminal pops up a notification; it also includes supplementary materials filtered by the AI assistant, marked with a red label stating“requires human subjective judgment.”Sailor made subjective judgments on these materials.
At 10 AM, Sailor completed the day’s work and planned to go to the public learning space. Before going out, Xiao Ai hands over an adaptive temperature smart coat:“Based on your itinerary, the public space temperature is relatively low in the morning, and the coat has been preset to warm mode.”Sailor smiles as he takes it, recalling how twenty years ago he had to squeeze into the subway for two hours to go to work in an office, freezing on the way to the subway station and sweating in the crowded subway. Now, such a life has long become history.2035, after the “comprehensive automation revolution,” heavy labor in manufacturing, service, and agriculture has been completely taken over byAI and robots, and humanity has finally been liberated from the pressure of survival.
Now, work has become a“luxury,”AI Regulatory Commission staff and AI R&D and maintenance personnel work 16 hours a week, 100 days a year; general social service personnel work 8 hours a week, 100 days a year. People’s main activities are exercise, socializing, traveling, and doing some “non-heritage” handicrafts.

The currency in circulation is“electronic currency,AI Regulatory Commission staff and AI R&D and maintenance personnel are classified asA class, allowing them to travel to space once a year; general service personnel and teenagers are classified asB class, allowing them to travel globally in luxury twice a year; non-working children and the elderly are classified asC class, allowing them to travel domestically in luxury twice a year. “Office workers” also receive rewards. Today, Sailor received a bonus.
