(referred to as “Zhongke Yuyi”) is providing guided tours to visitors, with its agile form and lively “personality” attracting many to take photos and interact.

On November 27, Chengdu’s third batch of real-world validation activities for robots and artificial intelligence officially commenced! Jiaozi Avenue, Kuanzhai Alley, Wuhou Shrine, Traffic Management Division Six, Chunxi Road, and Dongjiao Memory—six real urban scenarios became the most rigorous testing grounds for cutting-edge technology. Twenty-one robots from thirteen companies, showcasing technical representativeness and scene adaptability, made a spectacular appearance across the entire product matrix.
Focusing on Sub-Scene Validation Challenges
Following the successful outcomes of the first two batches of real-world validations, this event sees Chengdu placing greater emphasis on sub-scene validation challenges and linking enterprises with market supply and demand, vividly illustrating the empowering journey from “technological breakthroughs” to “scene validation,” and then to “industrial applications” and “system upgrades,” injecting innovative vitality into Chengdu’s high-quality industrial development.
“This event provided the robot ‘Xiao Yu’ with an opportunity for adaptive validation in real application scenarios, helping us further refine its operational performance in real environments,” said Zhao Huiyuan, Director of the Cooperation Department at Zhongke Yuyi, in an interview with Securities Daily. In the future, the company will focus on the actual needs of core scenic spots like Kuanzhai Alley, iterating and optimizing product performance based on what functions the scenic area requires, allowing the robot to truly serve the people.

Compared to the limited options of traditional sugar painting patterns, the Mingtou AI sugar painting robot has achieved a leap forward. This device is equipped with thousands of online pattern resources, greatly expanding the creative boundaries, and features advanced AI live image capabilities, allowing it to intelligently generate customized sugar painting patterns based on a sentence, a piece of text, or a specific image provided by the user. The entire production process takes only one to two minutes, enhancing efficiency while fully meeting contemporary consumers’ diverse demands for personalized and creative cultural consumption experiences.
Huang Xiru, the marketing activity leader at Mingtou Technology, told Securities Daily: “Based on feedback from the previous two product validation activities, we have comprehensively upgraded and optimized the Sugar Painting Machine. We focused on upgrading the nozzle device to address the core pain point of frequent equipment failures, ensuring the stable conduct of this product validation activity.”
Sichuan Yiwai Technology Co., Ltd.’s cute and lively “Xiao Xicai” robot has achieved multiple breakthroughs in its core configuration: it integrates four major AI models—DeepSeek, Doubao, Qianwen, and Kimi—supports interaction in 37 foreign languages and over 50 dialects, and incorporates a complete robot curriculum system from appearance modeling, 3D printing, circuit board design, code writing, assembly debugging to product delivery, applicable in various scenarios such as student homework assistance and electronic pets.
Additionally, new technologies and products such as Chengdu Dili Technology Co., Ltd.’s DILI-X smart driving mobile business robot, Chengdu Linlu Technology Co., Ltd.’s intelligent barbecue robot, and the intelligent coffee robot developed by China-Singapore (Chengdu) Innovation Technology Park were all showcased, as Chengdu empowers industrial development through scene innovation, accelerating the transformation of technological achievements in enterprises.
Fully Committed to Building a “Scene Application City”
This real-world validation activity is a vivid practice of Chengdu’s deep implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party, fully executing the State Council’s Office’s decision to accelerate scene cultivation and promote large-scale application of new scenes. It is also a vivid reflection of the city’s efforts to “find scenes for enterprises and find products for scenes.”
Recently, the Chengdu Economic and Information Technology Bureau’s New Economic Development Committee (referred to as “Chengdu Economic and Information Bureau’s New Economic Committee”) has specifically established a “Scene Application Promotion Office” with the goal of building a “Scene Application City,” adhering to a “user-centric approach, asking enterprises for needs,” and constructing a service model of “four specialties and one family” with dedicated teams, personnel, files, and lines, to comprehensively promote the cultivation and application of new scenes in Chengdu’s economic and new fields, fully driving the large-scale commercialization of new technologies, products, and business formats in Chengdu’s manufacturing industry.
Since June of this year, Chengdu has been regularly conducting real-world validation activities, with the first two batches organizing 16 enterprises and 28 cutting-edge products, completing application promotion in various scenarios such as Tianfu Square and Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, driving product iteration and industrial innovation through real scenarios.
As a new highland for the development of the artificial intelligence industry in the country, Chengdu focuses on the three elements of artificial intelligence, four major brand tracks, full-scene applications, and a full-factor ecosystem, constructing an industrial system of “3+4+1+1.” From January to September 2025, Chengdu’s artificial intelligence and robotics industry scale is expected to grow by over 35% year-on-year, with five enterprises selected among the top 100 nationwide and eight recognized as provincial chain master enterprises, achieving full coverage of the industrial chain and maintaining comprehensive strength in the national first echelon.
A relevant person in charge of the Chengdu Economic and Information Bureau’s New Economic Committee stated: “In the next step, Chengdu will continue to select a batch of innovative, demonstrative, and highly applicable new technologies and products, explore high-value new scenes, and through supply-demand matching and ‘ranking and commanding’ measures, use scene applications to drive technological iteration and industrial upgrading, providing solid support for cultivating new productive forces and building a national advanced manufacturing base.”
