Recently, journalists from several mainstream media outlets gathered in Taishi Village, Kunyang Street, Jinning District, Kunming City, to visit the “Village Broadcasting Courtyard” and focus on the innovative practices of empowering rural revitalization through e-commerce live streaming.
Since its inauguration in May 2025, the “Village Broadcasting Courtyard” has innovatively adopted a model of “cooperative + village collective + operating company”. By integrating logistics, e-commerce, warehousing, and other resources, it has developed into an important platform for promoting agricultural specialty products, intangible cultural heritage embroidery, and cultural creative products.
To ensure the sustainable development of the “Village Broadcasting Courtyard”, the Jinning District Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has included it in the supervision list of key rural revitalization projects. This involves strengthening risk assessment beforehand, enhancing process supervision during implementation, and reinforcing accountability and rectification afterward, thereby establishing a comprehensive supervision system to accurately prevent integrity risks in the use of funds and cooperative operations, laying a solid foundation for rural revitalization.
At the initial stage of the project, the Jinning District Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision focused on key aspects such as fund usage, resource allocation, and partner selection. They guided the Discipline Inspection Commission of Kunyang Street in Jinning District to conduct embedded supervision through reviewing accounts, on-site visits, and discussions, targeting key issues such as the flow of village collective funds, operating company fees, and compliance of logistics cooperation, to prevent problems like benefit transfer and false claims. They also urged relevant departments such as agriculture and rural affairs, and business promotion to fulfill their responsibilities and strengthen supervision, jointly building a transparent operational defense line for the “Village Broadcasting Courtyard”.
“The rural express delivery model of ‘orders placed before 2 PM are delivered the same day’ is an effective measure for the ‘Village Broadcasting Courtyard’ to open up a two-way channel for agricultural products to go up and industrial products to come down,” said the head of the Party Style and Political Style Supervision Office of the Jinning District Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision. They coordinated the supervisory forces at the district, street, and village levels to closely monitor key aspects such as logistics chain optimization and delivery timeliness, organizing discipline inspection and supervision personnel to conduct on-site visits to distribution centers, transfer stations, and terminal points to address issues like unreasonable route planning and non-standard terminal services, continuously improving the quality and efficiency of logistics services.
Currently, the “Village Broadcasting Courtyard” has trained nearly a hundred local anchors across eight towns (towns and streets) in the district, and through customized courses, enhanced their practical skills, making them the “spokespersons” for rural good products. Based on this, Jinning District is actively planning to build projects such as “Village Product Markets” and “Village Tourism Stations”, deeply exploring the value of local specialty agricultural products, converting online traffic into offline sales, and effectively enhancing the sense of gain, happiness, and security of the people.
With the strong supervision and promotion of the Jinning District Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, the Jinning “Village Broadcasting Courtyard” has grown from an e-commerce “test field” into a new development “engine”. The Jinning District Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision will continue to optimize the environment through supervision and promote development through integrity, allowing the “Village Broadcasting Courtyard” to not only help local products reach broader markets but also attract visitors from all directions to the poetic countryside on the southern shore of Dianchi Lake, jointly painting a vibrant picture of prosperous industries, wealthy citizens, and beautiful villages.
