From workshop to acoustic legend:
Dynaudio’s 47 years of sound history
—
Founded in 1977 in Skanderborg, Denmark, Dynaudio has established a sound philosophy of “true reproduction, pure transparency, and dynamic ease,” spanning three major fields: professional recording studios, automotive audio, and home Hi-Fi. Hundreds of studios, including BBC and Air Studios, reference the Core series; models like Bugatti and Volkswagen Phaeton choose it as their factory top configuration; home models like Confidence and Contour are considered “Nordic poison” among audiophiles. This “same origin” driver technology (precision-coated soft dome tweeter, MSP molded mid-bass, and large-diameter aluminum voice coil) has been fully transplanted into the custom installation product line, allowing “invisible” speakers to maintain Dynaudio’s signature high resolution and low distortion performance.

Custom Installation: Embedding 47 Years of Acoustic DNA into a 7 cm Thickness
—
Zero-compromise drivers: Esotec+ tweeter, MSP mid-bass, pure aluminum voice coil, all used in the flagship home models.86 processes: Each driver undergoes 45 minutes of individual testing before assembly, with the soft dome capable of handling 1000 W peak power instantly.Aesthetic invisibility: 3 mm ultra-narrow magnetic grille that blends seamlessly with the wall after painting; horizontal/vertical installation can be switched freely; tool-free clips allow for 15-second installation.

#2
Performance Series
Making the living room cinema “invisible” with floor-standing speakers
Enhancing traditional HiFi audio with a cinematic feel
—
Installation highlights: Push-and-Lock / Twist-and-Lock tool-free clips, 3 mm ultra-narrow grille, can be painted to blend in with the wall.
P4-W80Integrates an 8-inch MSP woofer and a 28 mm coated soft dome tweeter into a 77 mm ultra-thin cabinet. With a low frequency extension down to 42 Hz and a sensitivity of 89 dB, it can output the energy of a traditional floor-standing speaker in a 370 × 215 mm wall cavity. Whether placed vertically as the main channel or horizontally as the center channel, the entire magnetic grille can blend in with the TV wall.

P4-W656.5-inch MSP woofer, 46 Hz cutoff, 87.5 dB sensitivity. A smaller 194 × 314 mm opening, designed for side surround, rear surround, or small media rooms. The tweeter has a ±3 dB switch to adjust for proximity to the listening position.

P4-C80“Ceiling version of W80.” The 8-inch driver fires downward, and the 360° rotatable tweeter module allows the main channel to be hidden in the ceiling. A 260 mm opening can accommodate a “hidden floor-standing speaker” in high-ceiling living rooms or behind acoustically transparent screens.

P4-C656.5-inch ceiling model, 46 Hz cutoff, 87.5 dB. The preferred choice for Atmos Top Front / Top Rear, also an “invisible singer” for multi-room background music. The magnetic grille can be removed in 3 seconds, leaving only sound after painting.

P4-LCR50Dual 5-inch MSP woofers packed into a 77 mm body, D’Appolito layout provides the density and clarity needed for movie dialogue. Can be used horizontally as a center channel or vertically as a main channel, with a low impedance of 4 Ω for easy driving, the thinnest “invisible protagonist” for TV walls or behind acoustically transparent screens.

Sub RCC (discontinued)20 cm long-stroke driver, 20–145 Hz, 92 dB, peak 400 W. The 92 mm ultra-thin cabinet can be embedded in walls or sofa bases, delivering low-frequency energy directly onto the floor, forming a fully invisible cinema with any Performance setup.

#3
Studio Monitoring Series
Bringing the recording studio home
Allowing listeners to hear the same sound as the director
—
Installation highlights: ±30° adjustable tweeter, 360° rotating mid-high module, round/square magnetic grille, compatible with 72–95 mm cavities.
S4-W80Shares the same name as Performance but features a Cerotar-level coated tweeter and a larger magnetic circuit, with a peak power of 160 W. Designed for small Atmos mixing studios, the left, center, and right main monitors maintain frequency response and phase consistency with the Core series, allowing producers to bring the “studio” home.

S4-W656.5-inch MSP woofer, 46 Hz cutoff, 87.5 dB. Smaller size, suitable for side surround, rear surround, or widening channels. The tweeter is adjustable ±3 dB, compatible with different studio acoustics.

S4-C808-inch ceiling model, 42 Hz cutoff, 89 dB. A professional choice for ceiling main channels and height layer Object channels. The tweeter module can rotate 360° within the bracket, accurately pointing to the listening position, ensuring that Atmos height imaging does not drift.

S4-C656.5-inch ceiling model, 46 Hz cutoff, 87.5 dB. Full coverage for Top Front / Top Rear / Top Middle, with a rotating tweeter that seamlessly connects the height layer with the screen layer.

S4-LCRMT + S4-LCR65WModular LCR: One passive MT mid-high module can be paired with two 6.5-inch W woofer modules to form the left-center-right main channel. The MT can be installed horizontally or vertically, with the tweeter adjustable ±3 dB, covering a full range of 46 Hz–20 kHz, fitting into acoustically transparent screens, providing studio-level standards for “zero-visual” monitoring.

Conclusion
An invisible acoustic corridor
If you want your living room cinema to be “invisible” yet have the scale of floor-standing speakers → Performance: P4-W80 / P4-LCR50 + Sub RCC. If you want to “hide” studio-level surround sound in the ceiling → Studio: S4-W80 + S4-C80 + S4-LCRMT combination. Whether on the wall or ceiling, Dynaudio, with 47 years of acoustic faith, tells you: true good sound does not need to be seen.
