Introduction to the IoT Innovation Center
The IoT Innovation Center was established in May 2022, aiming to provide students with a learning platform for participating in IoT technology innovation. The studio revolves around the school’s “four-in-one dual-college” talent training model, adhering to the concept of “Interest-Driven Innovation, Technology Leading the Future”, mainly engaged in research on IoT technology, hardware product development, and application innovation. It operates on a project-based model, allowing students to participate in project design, implementation, and management, applying theoretical knowledge to practice, enhancing students’ innovative practical abilities, and strengthening their awareness of innovation. The current base is located at Xianzheng Building 304 & Nanjing College 102.
Current Projects of the Studio:
1. Digital Campus Construction Project
A model for the digital campus is being established, with plans to continuously follow up and develop features such as campus scene reproduction and on-campus navigation.
2. Rural Chain Project
A digital rural revitalization service platform created to promote rural revitalization, aiming to utilize existing high-tech and innovative construction to achieve rural revitalization and drive economic development.
The IoT Innovation Center will focus on the National College Student IoT Design Competition (school competition) as its core, transforming competition real questions into reusable modules, paired with a “twin + IoT” course package, allowing teachers and students to co-create and upload models, access real-time sensor data, and connect navigation, energy consumption, security, and other high-frequency campus scenarios, forming a “course-training-competition-implementation” flywheel, allowing imagination to take root in the cloud and creation to sprout in reality.
