My study is not large, so I really enjoy a minimalist desk. A few days ago, I reorganized my computer desk and replaced my previous host with a Zero刻 mini host, freeing up a lot of space on the desk. After the swap, I thought about adding a water dispenser to the desk because previously, every time I wanted water, I had to run to the living room tea bar to get it. It was not only inconvenient, but by the time I got the hot water back to my desk, I often found it had cooled down. Moreover, for those of us who often work in front of the computer, it’s easy to forget to drink water once we get busy.
Recently, with summer here, the human body needs to replenish water, so I decided to make some changes to my computer desk. After replacing the traditional old host with a mini host, I had a large area of space available, so I bought a Beideng 9 series instant hot water dispenser to place on it. For someone like me, who works long hours at a desk, having such an instant hot water dispenser not only makes it convenient to drink water but also serves as a reminder to stay hydrated.

Whether it’s for making tea or coffee, you can directly choose the appropriate water temperature and volume, which is very convenient. The water volume options include small capacities of 100ml, 200ml, and 300ml, as well as larger modes of 500ml and 800ml, making it very handy for heating water for instant noodles or soups.
The Beideng 9 series instant hot water dispenser uses a thick film heating technology, which not only allows for hot water to be produced in 3 seconds but also ensures that the water flow starts slowly and then becomes steady, preventing splashing and burns when filling hot water, combining safety and practicality.
Additionally, compared to ordinary instant hot water dispensers, the Beideng 9 series has a particularly good feature: it supports one-button self-cleaning. Over time, using the dispenser can inevitably lead to the growth of bacteria inside. While cleaning cups is easy, cleaning the dispenser itself is not so straightforward. Fortunately, this model comes with a one-button self-cleaning function, which, when used with special cleaning tablets, makes it very easy to clean the internal heating pipes of the dispenser, ensuring that the water you drink is much safer.
I believe that a desk must be simple and aesthetically pleasing. The small items I have on my desk are all very practical and visually appealing, including this newly acquired Beideng water dispenser, which occupies very little space but has a large capacity, being both exquisite and practical.
Additionally, if possible, I recommend getting a smart height-adjustable desk. Standing while working can reduce neck pressure, and having an instant hot water dispenser on the desk, like mine, can save you the hassle of running back and forth for water, allowing you to enjoy water at a perfect 50°C anytime, and it’s also convenient for making instant noodles.
