(2) Public Security Authority Filing.After registering the drone in the Civil Aviation Administration’s real-name registration system, please report the relevant registration information to the local public security authority for filing. The filing process is as follows: The holder must bring the drone (including product type, model, serial number, product identification code, flight control serial number), the original ID card (for corporate holders, relevant information of the legal person must be registered, including unified social credit code/organization code), and purchase proof to the local police station for registration and filing.

All relevant units and individuals must ensure that the registration information is true and accurate. Providing false information will result in corresponding legal responsibilities.

3. Legal Responsibilities

Article 47 of the “Interim Regulations on the Flight Management of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles” states that violations of these regulations, such as flying civil unmanned aerial vehicles without real-name registration, will result in a correction order from the public security authority and may incur a fine of less than 200 yuan; in serious cases, a fine of more than 2,000 yuan and less than 20,000 yuan.

Article 50 states that if a person without civil capacity or a person with limited civil capacity violates these regulations by operating civil unmanned aerial vehicles, the public security authority may impose a fine of more than 500 yuan and less than 5,000 yuan on their guardians; in serious cases, the unmanned aerial vehicle used for illegal flight will be confiscated.

Article 51 states that violations of these regulations, such as operating micro, light, and small civil unmanned aerial vehicles in controlled airspace without approval, or operating model aircraft in airspace designated by air traffic management agencies, will result in a stop order from the public security authority and may incur a fine of less than 500 yuan; in serious cases, the unmanned aerial vehicle used for illegal flight will be confiscated, and a fine of more than 1,000 yuan and less than 10,000 yuan will be imposed.
