1. PCB Board Cost
If you want to find a PCBA manufacturer to help you process, you need to provide the PCB files and BOM list. The PCBA manufacturer will use your PCB files to create the PCB bare board, which incurs the first part of the cost, the PCB board cost. The cost of the PCB depends on the complexity of the board’s process, for example, 4-layer boards, 8-layer boards, aluminum substrate boards, carbon ink boards, etc., all have different prices. Of course, you can also find a PCBA board factory for processing, but the price will definitely not be as cheap since they have long-term cooperation and can offer discounts; wealthy individuals can proceed as they wish.

2. Component Procurement Cost
The second part of the PCBA processing cost is the component procurement cost. The manufacturer procures the components you need based on the BOM list. During procurement, due to reasons such as reel loss for components like resistors and capacitors and SMT mounting losses (e.g., misplacement, failure to timely clear the reel), a 5% material loss margin must be included; manufacturers often have long-term partnerships with component vendors, so prices will be lower.

3. SMT Processing Cost (SMD Mounting + DIP Soldering)
When calculating the SMT processing cost, first check the batch size of your processing. If it exceeds 2000 pieces, there is no engineering fee; otherwise, an engineering fee will be added. Next, calculate the number of points multiplied by the unit price per point. The unit price for mounting points ranges from 0.01 to 0.015 yuan. Points are calculated based on 2 pins per point for SMT components and 1 pin per point for DIP components. The two are multiplied together. Details can be divided as follows:
1. 0402 components are calculated at 0.015 yuan per point. 0603-1206 components are calculated at 0.015 yuan per point.

6. BGA with 2 pins counts as one point; calculated at 0.015 yuan per point.
7. Large components are calculated based on the volume of the components.
8. Additional costs are calculated at 20 yuan per hour.
9. This quote does not include testing fees, transportation costs, taxes, etc.

4. PCBA Testing and Assembly Costs
PCBA testing costs are generally calculated at 2 yuan per board, plus assembly and packaging costs, which are generally 0.8 yuan per unit. This is the fourth part of the cost.
