Empowering Malaysian AI Robotics Competition through Remote Teaching

To promote vocational education exchange between China and Malaysia, the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of the college has negotiated with the Malaysian Duta Education Institution to co-organize the “2025 National High School AI Robotics Competition” in Malaysia. A team of four teachers from the college, Zhao Jiaming (School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering), Yu Xufan, Luo Xi, and Li Guijin (School of Intelligent Transportation), will provide modular programming practical teaching and skill guidance for participating high school students, conducting practical teaching in modular programming to assist in the final preparation for the competition.

The training focuses on the uCode programming platform, covering programming basics, functional module applications, and logical structure arrangement, combined with interesting tasks and case practices for teaching. Under the careful guidance of the college’s teacher training team, the participating students achieved remarkable results, with the champion awarded to the Mianzhong Nanhua Independent School, and the second and third places going to the Kuanrou School Kulai Branch and the Klang Guanghua Independent School, respectively.

This collaboration not only enhances the technical skills of the students but also trains the teachers’ international teaching capabilities, providing a model for vocational education to “go global”.
