Recently, Qunxin Shining, a member of the Jiachen Project, donated one set of Milk-V Megrez motherboard (including fan) to the leader of the Jiachen Project, receiving 1499 drifting points (see the observation address at the end of the article [2]). This donation is a targeted donation, and the leader of the Jiachen Project will (along with several developers) test the Megrez and attempt to run a series of software tests, resulting in multiple articles or video introductions.
The Milk-V Megrez is a timely creation, equipped with an ESWIN 7700X processor (with a built-in 4-core SiFive P550) and an NPU with a computing power of 19.95 TOPS. It also supports (experimental) RISC-V H extensions.
Mr. Wu Wei, the leader of the Jiachen Project (also serving as the leader of the Drifting Project), expressed gratitude for the support from Qunxin Shining and stated that this donation will be used for the following purposes:
1. To test the operating system and software ecosystem support for Megrez, producing a series of videos.
2. For the Jiachen Project’s RISC-V Open Source Software Performance Tracking Platform (PTS), helping the open-source community identify performance issues.
