ACROVIEW Programmer Supports FuDanWei Automotive Microcontroller FM33FG065A

As a leader in the chip programming industry, ACROVIEW Technology recently announced the latest update of its programming software and released a list of newly supported chip models. In this update, the automotive-grade microcontroller FM33FG065A from FuDanWei has been supported by the ACROVIEW universal programmer AP8000.

FM33FG065A is a low-power MCU based on the ARM Cortex-M0 architecture, supporting up to 512KB of program flash, 16KB of data flash, and a maximum of 64KB of RAM; it integrates a 12-bit SAR-ADC, DAC, CAN-FD controller, LIN controller, SENT controller, and other rich peripherals; it features an ultra-wide operating voltage range and excellent low-power performance.

FM33FG065A complies with ISO26262 standards and possesses strong safety design capabilities, providing three CAN interfaces, two of which support CANFD, while also being compatible with four LIN and two SENT interfaces. The FM33FG065A comes in various package forms, supporting a maximum LQFP144 package, suitable for automotive components such as BCM, TBOX, digital keys, seat controllers, wireless charging, and air conditioning controllers.

Overall Block Diagram

The ACROVIEW self-developed universal programmer AP8000 (one-to-one online/offline programming), (one-to-eight online/offline programming) and eMMC programming, UFS programming support all chip models of FuDanWei for bare chip (offline) programming and on-board programming. The AP8000 universal programmer consists of three main parts: host, baseboard, and adapter. Additionally, the AP8000 serves as a universal programming platform in the industry, capable of supporting the programming of all programmable chips available on the market, and is also the core programming platform for ACROVIEW’s automated batch programming machine IPS5800S.

The host supports USB and NET connections, allowing multiple programmers to be networked, achieving simultaneous control of multiple programmers for concurrent programming. The built-in chip safety protection circuit ensures that even if the chip is inserted incorrectly or other reasons cause a short circuit, it can be immediately detected and power cut to ensure the safety of the chip and programmer. The embedded high-speed FPGA greatly accelerates data transmission and processing. The back of the host has an SD card slot, allowing project files created by PC software to be placed in the root directory of the SD card and inserted into this slot. Commands for selecting, loading, and executing programming files can be performed via buttons on the programmer, enabling operation without a PC, significantly reducing PC hardware configuration costs and facilitating rapid adaptation to working environments.

The AP8000 enhances the host’s expandability through the baseboard and adapter, currently supporting all mainstream semiconductor manufacturers’ devices, including Silan, QUECTEL, BEKEN, CHIPONE, ESPRESSIF, etc. Supported device types include NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and support for file formats including Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, POF, etc.
