C Maintenance Efforts at Their Peak
Currently, the C maintenance of Unit 4 at Shaanxi Coal and Electricity Company has entered a critical phase. The equipment operation and maintenance party branch is harnessing the power of the ‘Red Wrench’ party brand to promote the deep integration of party building and maintenance production, closely monitoring internal control deadlines to accurately address issues and fully tackle challenges. As of now, the maintenance tasks completed include the disassembly and repair of the sealing leak at the drive end of the A pre-pump, maintenance of the primary and secondary fans, and inspection of the generator’s collector ring and carbon brushes, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality commissioning of the unit.
In this C maintenance of Unit 4, a total of 146 tasks are involved. The equipment operation and maintenance party branch has formed a task force covering all specialties including turbine, boiler, electrical, thermal engineering, and electrical control, achieving a “dual binding and synchronized effort” of maintenance responsibility and party building responsibility. The turbine specialty is meticulously studying the disassembly and cleaning of the main oil cooler and the maintenance of the high bypass pressure relief valve, strictly adhering to process quality; the boiler specialty is directly addressing the challenges of the coal mill overhaul, optimizing plans to correct progress, and efficiently completing the maintenance of the induced draft fan, anti-wear and explosion-proof inspections, and welding of pressure components; the electrical specialty is tackling the inspection of the generator’s collector ring and the external maintenance of the excitation brush frame, standardizing the disassembly, repair, and reinstallation of equipment; the thermal engineering specialty is fully advancing the maintenance of the DCS system and the PLC upgrade, solidifying the stability of the control system; the electrical control specialty is focusing on the maintenance of the boiler safety MCC and the upgrade of the Huali II line, ensuring the safe operation of the equipment.
In response to the equipment anomalies discovered during maintenance, the party branch has established a “Party Member Responsibility Zone” system, where key party members lead the investigation of hidden dangers and formulate plans, implementing a full-process control of “discovery-disposal-closure”. From component wear repair, sealing surface grinding, to leak point investigation and weld repair, party members are always at the forefront for rapid rectification, ensuring that both maintenance quality and progress meet standards. Additionally, the party branch has set up party member liaison positions at key stages such as cross-specialty collaboration and external equipment interfacing, maintaining communication throughout to ensure timely arrival of equipment materials, clearing obstacles for maintenance.
C maintenance efforts are accelerating. The equipment operation and maintenance party branch will continue to lead with party building, unite team efforts, focus on key nodes, strictly control safety and quality, and lead all employees with a more vigorous spirit and a more pragmatic style to fully advance the remaining maintenance tasks, solidifying the equipment foundation for maximizing power generation and winning the annual target battle.
