In response to the national strategy for cultivating new engineering talent and keeping pace with the wave of digital transformation in education, from July 20 to 25, 2025, the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Guangzhou University of Technology selected six full-time teachers to participate in the “2025 AI Multimodal Robot Development Practice Summer Advanced Teacher Training Camp” organized by Softcom in Xi’an. This training focuses on the deep integration of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (AIoT) technology, helping university teachers enhance their teaching design and engineering practice capabilities.

Training Exchange

This training camp centers on “domestic chips + local deployment + intelligent interaction” and focuses on cutting-edge technologies such as the domestic ESP32-S3 chip, localized services for large models, and MCP protocol control terminals. Through practical operations, it guides teachers to master the full-process development skills from hardware access to intelligent agent construction. The course content covers popular application scenarios such as enterprise intelligent customer service systems, educational companion robots, and industrial AI control, combining technological foresight with practical teaching applications, providing valuable opportunities for universities to update teaching content, expand research directions, and guide students in competitions and employment.

During the training, our faculty team engaged in in-depth exchanges with outstanding teachers from across the country, discussing innovative paths for empowering education and teaching with AI technology. Participating teachers expressed that this training camp not only broadened their technical horizons but also enhanced their engineering practice capabilities through practical projects. They will integrate the learned content into their classrooms to help students master the core competencies of the AI era.
