Recently, Aipute Microelectronics, a leading domestic RISC-V MCU company in the fields of industrial control and smart home appliances, officially launched a powerful, high-performance, and high-speed processing RISC-V 32-bit MCU—the APT32F173 series, which supports dual motor drive.

The APT32F173 series adopts a fully domestic RISC-V core, featuring 8K ICACHE, single-precision floating-point, and DSP computing capabilities, with a maximum clock frequency of 105MHz and a score of 3.5 CoreMark/MHz. The APT32F173 series also boasts a wide voltage range (1.8-5.5V) and can operate at temperatures up to 105°C, further expanding its application range to meet the demanding requirements of industrial fields. It includes rich analog and timer resources, and integrates CAN2.0 and 2.0B, making it highly suitable for industrial control, (dual) motor control, and smart home appliance markets.

Resource-Rich and Highly Reliable, Establishing Leading Product Performance Advantages

  • The maximum package supports up to 54 GPIOs, all of which can be configured as external interrupt inputs. Input supports CMOS and TTL levels, with strong drive output (14 pins capable of ultra-high current (120mA) drive capability) and fast drive, providing great flexibility while minimizing peripheral costs.

  • Co-processor module: 2 DMA and an event-triggered controller (ETCB) that supports inter-module triggering can significantly relieve CPU operational pressure while meeting low-latency and high-reliability requirements.

  • Rich analog resources: including 2 high-speed ADCs tailored for motor control (up to 47 analog input channels), with a maximum conversion speed of 3MSPS, 1 DAC, 4 OPAs, 3 CMPs, and 1 internal reference source module.

  • Powerful Timer resources:

    ○ 10 synchronous GPTA/B modules, of which 6 GPTB support complementary dead-time output and emergency mode settings.

    ○ Multiple BT, LPT, etc., for timing or simple PWM output.

  • Rich communication interfaces: All APT32F173 series chips are equipped with I2C, UART, USART (LIN1.2 or LIN2.0), CAN, SIO, and other communication interfaces, suitable for various interactive communication scenarios.

  • Equipped with an RTC calendar module and a 10COMx8SEG LED control with constant current output capability.

  • PMP (physical memory protection), NMI, LVD/LVR, external clock quality monitoring, WWDT, IWDT, Flash online verification, SRAM online verification, and other functional modules provide operational reliability guarantees for terminal systems.
