Introduction
Li Weichao, male, Han nationality, born in February 1986, from Zhao County, Hebei. He joined the Communist Party of China in April 2011 and is currently the manager of the System Engineering Research Room at Jingwei Hengrun (Tianjin) Research and Development Co., Ltd.
He is dedicated to his job, loves his work, and is diligent and uncomplaining. With a full work enthusiasm, solid work style, and excellent work performance, he embodies the pioneering spirit of a Communist Party member in the frontline of technical challenges, striving for progress and hard work. In 2024, he was awarded the title of “Outstanding Communist Party Member of Xiqing District.”
He is the Vanguard in Technical Challenges
Li Weichao is dedicated to his work and is good at researching his business. He insists on integrating theory with practice and can manage independently in his work. He leads the team to conduct in-depth research on key and difficult issues discovered during project advancement. Regarding the new technologies and tools needed for the project, he is not afraid of difficulties and boldly attempts new solutions. Within just one month of taking on the role of department head, he successfully completed DDR training, debugging of switching chips, debugging of EMMC write protection issues, design and implementation of software solutions for thermal testing, and some driver lighting work, ensuring the smooth delivery of the project. At the same time, with his solid technical abilities, he independently undertook the bring-up support work for the chip BSP, completing hardware lighting and joint debugging in a short period of time.
He is the Leader of the Innovation Team
Li Weichao places great importance on employee training and development, widely mobilizing employees’ enthusiasm and initiative in technology research. In daily work, he encourages subordinates to face problems bravely and to tackle difficulties. Under his leadership, the team quickly grew into an innovative and combat-ready technical team. They completed the requirements analysis, functional definition, program formulation, system integration, platform software burning, bare chip production, hardware testing, environmental testing, bench testing, problem analysis, and troubleshooting of the BSP system software. He led the setup of BSP software for multiple SOC chips, hardware lighting, driver development, and technical problem-solving, significantly enhancing the team’s development capabilities. Especially at the end of 2023, in response to the time pressure for hardware testing, he established a hardware lighting task force, formulated a sprint plan based on the individual capabilities of team members, and provided support according to the problems encountered during debugging, adjusting manpower allocation. Within a week, the hardware lighting and all hardware testing functions were successfully completed. Over more than three years, he has applied for more than thirty patents, with several patents authorized and over ten patents published, directly maintaining over ten products and indirectly supporting more than thirty projects, excelling in cost control and functional reuse, making a positive contribution to enhancing the company’s core competitiveness.
He is an Outstanding Communist Party Member at the Forefront
While performing his primary business duties, he maximizes the exemplary role of a Communist Party member, encouraging and guiding every team member to participate in the company’s development and encouraging departmental members to actively approach the Party organization. As a Party member for 13 years, he leads by example, actively participates in the Party branch’s organizational life and Party day activities, plays a pioneering role as a Party member, consciously strengthens theoretical learning, and encourages other Party members in the branch to learn in various ways, arming their minds with advanced ideas, continuously enhancing their political judgment and comprehension, further strengthening the “Four Consciousnesses,” solidifying the “Four Self-confidences,” and achieving the “Two Safeguards.” In terms of thinking about problems, making decisions, and handling matters, he always starts from the company’s interests, gathering wisdom and efforts from all, and uses his actions to effectively influence and motivate surrounding colleagues to innovate and create value, satisfying the Party organization and reassuring the company. Faced with the lack of technical experience of new department members, while the BSP system development requires a certain accumulation of experience, he took the initiative to distribute work and patiently guide them. From power-up timing, driver problem troubleshooting, to loopback testing, he led new colleagues step by step to familiarize themselves with the entire process of PHY debugging, helping them establish a method system for analyzing and solving problems. Through a month of effort, they successfully completed the lighting work of the 10G PHY, ensuring the smooth progress of the project. In the platform software development work, which involves cross-department debugging, integration, and code review, as well as consulting on issues from other non-cooperative departments, regardless of whether it is part of his job, he uses his professional expertise to explain principles in detail and help analyze root causes of problems, laying a solid foundation for the development and promotion of key projects in the company.
