BQB (Bluetooth Qualification Body) is the Bluetooth certification that all products involving Bluetooth technology must obtain before entering the market. Only by passing BQB certification can companies legally use Bluetooth technology and branding.
The Bluetooth technology is managed by the **Bluetooth SIG (Bluetooth Special Interest Group)**, which was established in 1998 and currently has over 20,000 member companies. Its main responsibilities include:

BQB Testing Content
● Profile Testing: Verifying Bluetooth functionalities such as music playback, calls, BLE data transmission, etc.;
● RF Testing: Assessing transmission power, reception sensitivity, frequency range, etc.;
● Protocol Testing: Covering core protocols such as L2CAP, SDP, GAP, ATT, GATT, etc.

Testing Cycle and Samples
● Cycle: Approximately 2-3 weeks
● Samples: Generally, 3 sets are required, of which one must have an RF Cable, along with Bluetooth control software

● SIG Membership Fee:
○ Annual revenue > $100 million: Annual fee $48,300
○ Annual revenue < $100 million: Annual fee $10,350
○ Free Membership: No annual fee, but single DID number fee is higher ($11,040)
● DID Number Fee: $5,520/model (for paid members)
● Testing Fees: Assessed based on version and number of profiles
