On September 8, the PLC training base in the electrical workshop was officially put into use. Technical supervisor Meng Qingyao demonstrated the operation points to employees while holding a programmer at the control panel.

The workshop has procured five sets of brand new training system components based on the special needs declared by the positions, establishing a PLC training base that integrates programmable logic controllers (PLC), professional programming software, simulation training teaching software, physical training modules, electrical training mesh panels, and electrical component modules, creating an integrated skill enhancement platform for personnel training that combines “theory + practical operation”.

The base can achieve multiple training functions, capable of conducting basic training on PLC basic instruction operations, program writing, and simulating actual application scenarios such as production line start-stop control and fault alarm handling. Through physical modules, practical training on motor speed control and valve control is conducted, allowing personnel to master technical points in a “simulation + physical” scenario.

“It can accommodate 10 people for concentrated training at the same time, with 5 people able to perform programming operation training simultaneously,” said Zhao Gang, deputy director of the workshop. The base also supports networking capabilities, allowing personnel to access online teaching videos and learning materials at any time, breaking the limitations of “fixed time and fixed location” training, achieving efficient training through “small class teaching + group practical operation”.

In the next step, the workshop will develop phased and tiered training plans based on the actual needs of the employees in their positions, conducting regular specialized training to promote the rapid adaptation of the team’s technical capabilities to the demands of automation development and enhance the overall skill level of personnel.
