“Inspiring Direction and Unity: A New Journey”
——The IoT Engineering College Organizes Quality Development Activities for Faculty and Students
On November 23, 2025, as the morning light broke, faculty and students entered the Guangzhou Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall with solemn hearts. Upon entering, a steep slope simulating the arduous journey of the revolution loomed ahead. Each step on this slope seemed to measure the hardships of the past. After traversing the long slope, a statue of Sun Yat-sen came into view, evoking a sense of reverence as it instantly transported people back to that tumultuous revolutionary era.

Inside the hall, the exhibition areas such as “The Eve of the Xinhai Revolution” and “The Wuchang Uprising and Responses from Various Provinces” were clearly laid out. Glass display cases contained pamphlets of the Revolutionary Army and the uprising soldiers’ sabers, silently narrating the passionate journey of a century ago. Faculty and students paused at the restored scene of the Wuchang Uprising, where the realistic street view made them feel as if they had traveled through time, experiencing the fearless commitment of the revolutionaries. In front of the wall that read, “The revolution has not yet succeeded, comrades still need to work hard,” the faculty members and students raised their right fists, their eyes resolute, and shouted their vows of struggle together, inheriting the spirit of their predecessors and demonstrating their determination to move forward.
As the afternoon sun shone brightly, the quality development activities commenced amidst cheers. Under the guidance of the instructors, faculty and students quickly formed four groups, showcasing their creativity through unique formations. The participants were determined and spirited, fully demonstrating a positive attitude and strong team cohesion.

Building on the previous activities, the event progressed to the most challenging segments of “Team Frisbee” and “Inspiring Hearts,” which thoroughly tested everyone’s teamwork abilities. In “Team Frisbee,” faculty and students were fully engaged, competing with precise throws. The cheers and applause resonated, vividly illustrating the spirit of teamwork. The “Inspiring Hearts” game was a true test of coordination, as everyone focused on the small ball on the drum, chanting the rhythm together. From frequent drops at the beginning to consecutively juggling the ball 7, 8, and 9 times later, each improvement was made possible through mutual encouragement.

The water activities were equally exciting, with the challenging bamboo raft rowing activity greatly testing the collaboration among team members. On the wide water surface, five bamboo rafts set off in sequence. Everyone performed their roles, with those at the front rowing together while those at the back maintained direction. As the team’s movements became more coordinated, the bamboo rafts steadily moved towards their destination, creating an unforgettable memory of the spirit of “working together in the same boat.”

As the sun set, the activities concluded, but the smiles on the faces of faculty and students and the passion in their hearts continued to boil. This unique theme activity combining party building and team building, led by party building and grasping team building, through immersive red education experiences, deepened the sense of national pride and remembrance of the struggle history while revisiting the glorious years. Each segment deeply integrated revolutionary spirit with the mission of the party and youth league, leaving a profound imprint of the red gene in the hearts of faculty and students. This youthful strength of faculty and students working together will continue to inspire young scholars to integrate the mission of the party and youth league into their veins, contributing vibrant youthful energy to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
