A couple of days ago, I discussed next year’s CSP score goals with my son, and we set a mutual target of “First place in Group J, and aiming for first place in Group S while securing second place.”
Last night, I suddenly thought about putting his goal in a prominent position, so I came up with the idea of using the computer wallpaper.
The original wallpaper was a beige image with a motivational quote: “Giving up is easy, but persistence is definitely cool.”
Inspired by this wallpaper, I wanted to create a similar one, replacing the motivational quote with his score goal.
So, I used AI to create an image with the same beige background, centered with the text “First place in Group J, aiming for first place in Group S“.
And I immediately changed the computer wallpaper to it.
Now, every time my son works on the computer, he will see this phrase, serving as a constant reminder.
When I told my son about changing his goal into a wallpaper, it only took a few minutes to complete the actual wallpaper change.
After I finished changing the wallpaper, when my son returned to the computer and saw the new wallpaper, he was a bit surprised. He didn’t expect me to follow through so quickly and effectively.

Our home computer has dual screens, and both screens display this wallpaper.
This wallpaper will stay for a year.
There was originally a competition yesterday, but the exam website crashed, so it was postponed to today.
Now, we participate in every competition available, seizing every opportunity to improve my son’s competitive skills.
I hope he can perform steadily and achieve good results to advance to the finals!
