Paper cups, toothpicks, rubber bands, straws, double-sided tape, scissors, etc.
Cut the upper half of the paper cup along the rim, shaping it into fan blades, then press it down to form the handle.(Be careful when using scissors)
Drill a small hole in the center of the bottom of the paper cup, which will be used for threading the rubber band.(Be careful when using toothpicks)
Step 3: Install Rubber Band and Straw
Thread the rubber band through the hole in the bottom of the paper cup, then thread a straw through the rubber band and secure the position of the rubber band and straw with a toothpick to ensure they do not loosen.
Step 4: Make the Fan Blades
Glue the cut fan blades around the edge of the paper cup, ensuring they are evenly distributed around the cup.(You can design the style and color of the fan blades according to your preference)
Step 5: Attach the Button
Attach a button to the handle; this button can be decorative or used to control the fan’s on/off switch.
Fix a toothpick on the back of the paper cup to ensure it can support the tension of the rubber band, allowing the rubber band to rotate and drive the fan blades to create airflow.(You can rotate it a few more times to build up tension)
