Synopsis:
Wings are the grace bestowed upon angels by God, and every angel takes pride in having wings.
Miannian is the child of the six-winged archangel granted by God.
He was supposed to be the next candidate for the archangel, the most noble little prince of the heavenly realm, but under the holy light of the wing-bestowing ceremony, his back was empty.
He is a child without wings.
Angels are proud, disciplined, tolerant, and compassionate; they despise the wingless Miannian but disdain to take his life.
Miannian was exiled to the demon realm.
The angels named him—Seroya, meaning the child abandoned by God.
The first time he met Seroya.
The demon king had a cold face, pinching his little face, looking at the trembling Seroya who couldn’t speak.
He scoffed: “Crybaby.”
Secretly sent baby nutrition fruits and had the holy birds of the demon realm sing lullabies to soothe him to sleep.
The next time he met Seroya.
Seroya was scared and stumbled, falling to the ground.
The demon king’s face darkened, scolding: “Fool.”
Yet he honestly bent down, picked up Seroya, and gently brushed over his scars.
The nth time he met Seroya.
The demon king’s expression softened, lifting the actively pouncing Seroya and placing him on the nearby throne, gently holding Seroya’s hand.

The angels retrieved Seroya after he became the unique eight-winged angel.
The archangel looked down upon him, forgiving his rudeness with grace, and bestowed him honor.
“You should kneel in gratitude; this is God’s grace.”
The archangel warned coldly.
Seroya raised his head, the authority was within reach, yet he resolutely turned around, sealing the door with a sword, and ran towards the distance.
Golden ornaments fell, pearl rings broke, and the jade palace collapsed.
The angels flew up in disarray, covered in dust.
He leaped barefoot into a cloud of black mist.
“Godfather.”
“Take me home.”
Seroya, it does not mean the child abandoned by God; it symbolizes the beloved of darkness, the treasure of demons.
The angels, blind to the treasure, mistook pearls for fish eyes.
