Recently, the 2025 22nd National College Student Information Security and Confrontation Technology Competition and the 2025 RuiKang Robotics Developer Competition concluded, with dozens of teams from Bochuan College performing excellently and achieving great results. Among them, the AI Innovation Robotics Team from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Bochuan College won multiple provincial and national awards. On April 20, 2025, team members collaboratively designed and developed the first-generation robotic dog “Qing Mang”, and began designing the second-generation robotic dog “Qing Yi” on April 7. Freshman students participated throughout the design, drawing, debugging, and assembly processes, and on May 24, both generations of robotic dogs successfully debuted at the Dalian University Carnival.

In the 2025 22nd National College Student Information Security and Confrontation Technology Competition (ISCC), four teams from Bochuan College achieved excellent results in the Northeast competition area, winning one first prize and three second prizes, advancing to the national finals. From October 23 to 25, the college counselors led the team to Kunming to participate in the national competition, where the AI Innovation Robotics Team won the national second prize, and the four teams collectively won one national first prize, two second prizes, and one third prize.

In the 2025 RuiKang Robotics Developer Competition (RAICOM) humanoid scene application competition, Bochuan College had a total of 10 teams participating and winning awards, with two teams successfully advancing to the national competition. From November 15 to 17, the national finals were held in Hangzhou, where the two teams achieved remarkable results, winning the national first prize and second prize.
The growth and development of the AI Innovation Robotics Team is a strong testament to Bochuan College’s implementation of the “Domain-based Education and College-based Talent Development” reform. It fully validates the advantages of interdisciplinary collaboration, mentor collaboration, and student collaboration, highlights the convenience and efficiency of having facilities located in the community, and reflects the vitality of mentors engaging with the college and deep interactions between teachers and students.
Looking ahead, Bochuan College will continue to deepen this talent cultivation model, allowing more interdisciplinary teams to take root and flourish in the college’s fertile ground, broadening and solidifying the growth path for outstanding innovative talents.
