Recently, the IC PARK West District in Chengdu High-tech Zone
welcomed a special “new employee”——
a wheeled inspection robot with autonomous inspection and environmental perception capabilities.
After being “on duty”,
the robot immediately joined the security management team of the park,
assisting in security upgrades.
This embodied intelligent “new sentinel” is provided by Chengdu Huagao Scenario Technology Co., Ltd., a professional operator of embodied intelligence formed by the High Investment Group,with collaboration from subsidiaries such as Chengdu High-tech Electronic Science and Technology Service Company and Chengdu High Investment Leading Innovation Company to promote the implementation and service application of scenarios,aiming to innovate security and patrol services around scenarios.
Currently, the first batch of 32 robots of the same series has been successively deployed to over 20 locations including IC PARK West District, Chengdu High-tech Zone Mold Industrial Park, China-Europe Center, and High-tech Youth Apartment, fully launching intelligent application service projects covering multiple scenarios such as industrial production, scientific research offices, and leisure life.

Human-machine collaboration enhances the quality and efficiency of park security
Security governance is the “lifeline” of industrial parks, providing solid guarantees for the production and research activities of resident enterprises. How to further enhance security capabilities and promote the upgrade of parks from spatial supply to industrial ecological empowerment has become a new consideration for park operators.
“In the past, during rain or fog, manual inspections were obstructed, affecting the efficiency of hazard identification. At night, there were also certain blind spots in inspections of some remote areas,” said a relevant person in charge of the IC PARK West District operation. The robots that are now “on duty” will specifically address security challenges in complex environments.
According to reports, this robot is equipped with an infrared thermal imaging core module and a laser radar system. With multi-modal perception fusion technology, it can effectively overcome the limitations of complex environments such as rain, fog, and night, achieving precise obstacle avoidance and all-weather operation. In addition, the robot can accurately monitor temperature and humidity, detect unauthorized intrusions, fire hazards, and identify safety and environmental issues such as blocked fire exits and overflowing trash bins, compensating for the shortcomings of manual inspections.
The deployment of robots does not directly replace human labor but optimizes security effectiveness through a human-machine collaboration model. The AI algorithm system built into the robot has high-precision risk assessment capabilities, allowing for accurate analysis and identification of captured risks. Once an anomaly is detected, it can trigger an alarm in seconds and simultaneously push alarm information containing on-site images and precise locations to the park management platform, assisting the security team in grasping the situation in real-time and taking remote or on-site action.

In the new model of “robot inspection + manual handling” for human-machine collaboration, the efficiency of park security will be further enhanced, creating a safe and secure environment for high-value research and development, precision manufacturing, and other electronic information enterprises, becoming a slice of support for the region’s deepening of the “establishing a park and filling it” action and refining the industrial ecosystem.

■The first batch of robots deployed in industrial parks, cultural and sports venues, cooperative hospitals, and schools operated by the High Investment Group will focus on verifying the reliability of technology and scene adaptability through on-site operations;

Currently, the first batch of 32 robots is expected to be “on duty” by the end of this month; the remaining robots will complete production, acceptance, and deployment work within the year, ultimately achieving comprehensive and large-scale application, continuously consolidating the region’s competitiveness in the field of intelligent equipment solutions.
It is worth mentioning that the project has also built a closed-loop development system of “demand excavation – technology iteration – scene expansion”, which means that after completing the deployment of basic security patrol functions, it will extend to diversified demand scenarios such as environmental cleaning and logistics distribution in the future, exploring a new paradigm of human-machine collaborative intelligent services, effectively addressing specific challenges in urban public scene governance while promoting industrial upgrades.
