The Deepal E07 Multitruck has begun customer deliveries in Australia. This is a unique crossover model that combines features of an SUV and a pickup truck.
This is the second model from Changan’s new energy brand Deepal in Australia, following the launch of the mid-size electric SUV S07 at the end of last year. Deepal is distributed in Australia by Inchcape, which is also the importer for Subaru, Peugeot, and Foton.
Model Positioning and Design
The E07 Multitruck comes from Changan’s Nevo sub-brand in China, with virtually no direct competitors in the Australian market.
• Body Type: Large electric SUV with a cargo bed featuring an electric sliding glass cover.
• Cargo Partition: Equipped with an electric partition that can completely separate the cargo bed from the cabin, or can be opened to enhance air circulation.
• Multifunctional Use:
o By opening the rear partition, it can be used as a pickup truck.
o The rear seats can be folded down, allowing for a mattress to be placed inside and activating Camping Mode, which automatically controls air conditioning and air filtration.
o Equipped with 6.6kW V2L external discharge, supporting power supply for camping appliances.
Additionally, the top-spec AWD Performance version features a unique Spessartite orange exterior, available for an additional cost of 1800 AUD.
