To Go Further and See Brighter Lights
Recently, exciting news has arrived from the 2025 World Robot Conference Beijing Championship! Our school’s robotics club elite teams 70123A and 70123C, through two days of intense competition, showcased outstanding innovative thinking, superb practical skills, and seamless teamwork, successfully overcoming challenges and ultimately both winning the national second prize. Among them, team 70123A achieved the first place in the second prize category, reaching a new peak in our school’s robotics competition history, bringing glory to the school and creating new achievements!
The WRC World Robot Competition is one of the most influential top events in the robotics field, gathering thousands of excellent teams from across the country, making the competition exceptionally fierce. This Beijing Championship was particularly competitive, described as a smoke-free technological “battle of wits.” Facing formidable opponents and complex competition challenges, our school’s robotics club members were undaunted and calmly rose to the challenge.
On the competition field, they sometimes focused on programming, debugging every action parameter of the robot; sometimes they engaged in heated discussions to optimize tactical plans; and at other times, they operated calmly, precisely controlling the robot to complete a series of high-difficulty tasks. From the structural design and assembly of the robot to programming, debugging, and on-site strategy deployment, every step reflected the hard work and wisdom of the team members, fully demonstrating our students’ solid scientific literacy, exceptional innovative capabilities, and tenacious fighting spirit. Over two days of fierce competition, they not only competed in technology but also tested their mindset and endurance, ultimately winning unanimous recognition and high praise from the judges.
This heavy honor is inseparable from the team members’ day-to-day hard training and dedication. During extracurricular time, the robotics club activity room is always bustling with their busy figures, repeatedly experimenting and continuously improving, overcoming one technical challenge after another. The guiding teachers have also devoted a lot of effort, providing careful guidance and patiently answering questions, offering solid professional support and moral encouragement to the team members. At the same time, this honor is also attributed to the school’s leadership for their high regard and strong support, providing a good development platform and resource guarantee for the club, creating a strong atmosphere for technological innovation.
“To Go Further and See Brighter Lights” is not only a perfect interpretation of this competition journey but also a reflection of the robotics club’s continuous pursuit of excellence and striving for new heights. This award is not only a high recognition of our school’s robotics club work but also a fruitful result of our school’s commitment to quality education and emphasis on cultivating students’ technological innovation capabilities. It will inspire more students to love science, dare to explore, and boldly practice, continuously advancing on the path of technological innovation.
