Li Yuan Man Yuan

When enterprises thrive, the park thrives; when the park is strong, the industry is strong.
Currently, the Wenjiang High-tech Zone is closely centered around “Li Yuan Man Yuan” to promote high-quality development of the park. To vividly showcase the supporting role of enterprises in the park’s “main battlefield,”we have specially launched the series report “Li Yuan Man Yuan in Progress – High-Quality Development of Enterprises as the ‘Yuan’ Power”, focusing on the development context of Wenjiang’s “3+6” modern industrial system, delving into the production and construction frontline of park enterprises, recording vivid stories of “advancing, resolving, optimizing, and promoting,” telling the story of enterprises growing together with the park, and witnessing the achievements of enterprises and industries together.

As intelligent robots gradually integrate into homes, classrooms, and industrial scenarios, a technology-driven transformation of lifestyle is taking place. In the Chengdu Wenjiang High-tech Industrial Park, a company with the mission of “making AI accessible” – Chengdu JiQu Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “JiQu Technology”), is quietly integrating into the new global landscape of artificial intelligence education through its independently developed domestic intelligent educational equipment.

From classroom to smart agriculture
From programming enlightenment to industrial empowerment
JiQu Technology has not only created an annual sales of over 80,000 units of
the “star product of educational robots”
but also uses “Wenjiang-made” as a fulcrum
to leverage the high-quality development of the regional artificial intelligence industry.
Technological Breakthrough
From domestic chips to AI education ecological closed loop
In JiQu Technology’s production workshop, a batch of teaching kits equipped with domestically produced chips is completing final quality checks and will soon be shipped to the European market.

This AI teaching tool, only the size of a palm, integrates a 2.8-inch touch screen, camera, microphone, and more than ten sensor modules, allowing students to conduct experiments such as face recognition and voice interaction without external devices. “The core advantage of the teaching kit lies in ‘self-controllable’ – 100% domestically produced chips combined with a Linux system and Python environment, which not only lowers the learning threshold but also ensures technical safety,” said the company’s founder, Wei Xiaoxue. This product has been implemented in over 8,000 schools across the country and has derived cross-industry application scenarios such as agricultural monitoring and laboratory automation.

The autonomy in technology is backed by JiQu Technology’s consistent R&D investment over the past decade. Since its establishment in 2011, the company has focused on the ecological construction of “hardware + software + content.” On the hardware level, its independently developed LattePanda micro single-board computer has breakthrough integration of the Intel N100 processor into a credit card size, becoming the world’s first development board capable of running a complete Windows 10 system; on the software level, the accompanying Mind+ graphical programming software has accumulated over a million users, establishing a complete learning path from beginner to advanced; on the content level, the artificial intelligence courses developed in collaboration with Wenjiang universities have entered multiple primary and secondary school classrooms, forming a closed-loop ecosystem of “teaching tools – platforms – courses.”

This full-link innovation capability is particularly evident in the Maikuan robot series. From the first generation relying on imported chips with basic line-following functions to the fifth generation equipped with domestically produced main control chips, achieving traffic light recognition and autonomous driving, the Maikuan robot has undergone five iterations, occupying 80% of the educational robot market share, and supports user secondary development for applications in logistics sorting, environmental monitoring, and other industrial scenarios through open interface design. “Our goal is not only to sell products but also to cultivate the soil for AI technology applications,” Wei Xiaoxue stated.
Strategic Upgrade
From educational equipment supplier to robot solution expert
In the face of intensified global competition in the artificial intelligence industry, JiQu Technology initiated a strategic upgrade in 2023, consolidating its advantages in the education market while extending into industrial control, smart home, and other fields. In the testing area of JiQu Technology located in the Wenjiang High-tech Industrial Park, two latest Maikuan robots are demonstrating collaborative operations, one accurately mapping the environment using laser radar, while the other autonomously plans paths based on AI algorithms, with real-time data transmitted via 5G network to cloud servers, showcasing JiQu Technology’s technical accumulation in robot cluster control.

This transformation is backed by the company’s continuous efforts in core technology. Its independently developed HuskyLens AI camera, with one-click AI training functionality and multi-interface compatibility design, is widely used in smart retail, quality monitoring, and other fields. Meanwhile, the URM ultrasonic sensor series achieves millimeter-level precision in obstacle detection, becoming a core component of autonomous driving testing equipment.

The strategic upgrade has led to rapid expansion of the market landscape. In addition to the education sector, JiQu Technology’s products have penetrated vertical scenarios such as new energy vehicle equipment and medical device control, with its LattePanda single-board computer widely used in new energy supercharging piles, and the HuskyLens camera assisting hospital intelligent endoscopic guidance robots in achieving precise positioning in the gastrointestinal tract. “We are transforming from a hardware supplier to an AIoT solution provider,” Wei Xiaoxue revealed, with plans to launch five industry-specific robots within three years, targeting emerging markets such as smart agriculture and smart cities.
Industry Empowerment
“Wenjiang-made” AI new forces drive the co-construction of the artificial intelligence industry ecosystem
The secret to JiQu Technology’s rise is deeply rooted in the forward-looking industrial layout of Wenjiang District. Currently, many students in Wenjiang are conducting pilot projects on “artificial intelligence + teaching,” providing a unique growth environment for technology companies. “From policy support to industrial chain collaboration, Wenjiang has paved a fast track for us,” Wei Xiaoxue admitted, emphasizing that JiQu Technology’s rapid growth is inseparable from Wenjiang’s first-class business environment, solid industrial foundation, and good policy support.

“The Wenjiang District Science and Technology Bureau, Chengdu Wenjiang High-tech Industrial Park, and other departments have not only actively helped us seek special policy support but also facilitated connections. Currently, we are collaborating with Wenjiang enterprises such as Black Pineapple Technology to jointly develop control mainboards, striving to launch more market-competitive ‘Wenjiang-made’ products,” Wei Xiaoxue introduced.

Facing the development blueprint of “new quality productivity,” the company has outlined a clear evolution path: vertically deepen the education scene, develop AI teaching integrated machines centered on the teaching kit, and launch high-energy learning terminals supporting large model deployment; horizontally expand application boundaries, entering trillion-level markets such as smart homes and smart agriculture. In the Wenjiang demonstration base of smart agricultural fields, agricultural robots equipped with JiQu sensing technology are also monitoring crop growth in real-time, with data collection accuracy reaching 97.3%.

“We not only want to cultivate more ‘Wenjiang-made’ blockbuster products but also nurture the next generation of technology talents who can drive high-quality development through AI,” Wei Xiaoxue stated. In the future, JiQu Technology will establish long-term stable partnerships with universities in Wenjiang to jointly carry out research projects and talent training programs, attracting more outstanding talents to join and allowing more ‘Wenjiang-made’ AI products to go global.
