The robot demonstrated this time is equipped with the Bay Area Research Institute’s independently developed edge computing brain kit, integrating key capabilities such as voice control, autonomous navigation, target detection, object grasping, and return to home, constructing a complete closed-loop process from “receiving instructions” to “delivering home”.

Users only need to give a voice command, and the robot can accurately locate the package, automatically plan a route to the target point, identify and grasp the package, and then autonomously return to the user — the entire process requires no human intervention, achieving a truly smart home delivery assistant.

The success of this scenario not only validates the practicality and stability of AI robots in home environments but also lays the foundation for the application of “5G+AI+Robots” in more daily life.
In the future, the Bay Area Research Institute and the marketing department will continue to expand the capabilities of service robots in community, building, and home scenarios, promoting AI technology from “usable” to “user-friendly”, bringing more imaginative space to smart living.
