In the exhibition hall of Bomin Electronics’ Chuangxin Intelligent Manufacturing Park located in the Meizhou Economic Development Zone, the high-end PCB technology and product innovations accumulated by Bomin Electronics in recent years are showcased here, covering a product matrix of PCB products in four core areas: automotive electronics, computing storage, power storage, and smart terminals, empowering every corner of smart living.
Chen Shijin, Director of Technology R&D at Bomin Electronics: This board is used in the computing storage field; the one I have in my hand is a 36-layer board, which is used in data communication. The technical challenges include precision of the circuit lines and the special nature of the materials, which must meet the requirements for high-speed signal transmission. To ensure that high-speed signals can be transmitted quickly, the manufacturing process is particularly complex, and our company is at the forefront of this technology.
“High precision and sophistication” is the core competitiveness of Bomin Electronics’ high-quality development. Currently, Bomin Electronics’ core products have basically achieved arbitrary layer interconnection structure design, overcoming key technologies such as ultra-thin dielectric layers and fine line imaging, meeting the demands for high-density and high-frequency signal transmission in 5G terminal devices, with lower transmission losses and higher integration, widely applicable in fields such as 5G communication terminals and AI optical modules. Additionally, Bomin Electronics has achieved mass production capability for 800G optical module PCBs, with related products recognized by multiple customers.
Han Zhiwei, Vice President of PCB at Bomin Electronics: Targeting the next generation of electronic information frontier demands, focusing on cutting-edge circuit board technologies in high-end servers, artificial intelligence, and automotive electronics, actively building a collaborative innovation network with research institutions and relevant customers in the Greater Bay Area. At the same time, seizing the opportunity of AI computing power, we are focusing on high-layer PCBs required for AI servers and data centers, while expanding into the automotive electronics and new energy markets to increase the proportion of high value-added products.
In the first three quarters of 2025, Bomin Electronics achieved a total operating revenue of 2.592 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.87%. This impressive achievement is attributed to Bomin Electronics’ consistent focus on talent and research as the core driving force for enterprise development. In terms of talent introduction, the company actively responds to Meizhou’s “Hongyan Plan” policy, adopting a collaborative talent introduction model of “employers + government”, successfully introducing a high-level innovation and entrepreneurship team in 2023, and receiving a special subsidy of 5 million yuan. At the same time, the government supports the company in building the “Provincial and Municipal Jointly Built High-Density Hybrid Integrated Circuit PCB Key Laboratory in Guangdong Province”, creating a technological innovation highland for the PCB industry in the eastern and western parts of Guangdong. In the first three quarters of 2025, Bomin Electronics’ R&D expenses reached 113 million yuan, an increase of over 13 million yuan compared to the same period last year, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as servers, new energy vehicle electronics, high-end HDI, and packaging substrates.
Chen Shijin, Director of Technology R&D at Bomin Electronics: As of the third quarter of 2025, the company has obtained approximately 300 authorized patents, including over 100 invention patents, ranking among the top in the industry.
Currently, Bomin Electronics is fully promoting the investment expansion project for the new generation of electronic information industry, with a total planned investment of about 3 billion yuan, divided into two phases. Once this project is completed and fully operational, it is expected to produce 3.6 million square meters of high-end printed circuit boards (PCBs) annually, creating approximately 2,000 new jobs, with main products including high-frequency and high-speed boards, HDI boards, high-layer boards, and packaging substrates, widely used in AI servers, network communication, automotive electronics, industrial control medical, and power storage fields.
Chen Shijin, Director of Technology R&D at Bomin Electronics: In the promotion of the “new generation of electronic information industry investment expansion project”, the government has ensured the project progresses according to schedule through a service mechanism of “no disturbance unless necessary, and responding to requests”.
Since settling in Meizhou in 2005, successfully going public in 2015, and now entering a new round of capital expansion, “innovation” has always been the thread running through every step of Bomin Electronics’ development.
