SIT1044 is a high-performance CAN FD transceiver chip independently developed by SIT, which is used between the CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. It can be applied in fields such as trucks, buses, cars, and industrial control, with a bus withstand voltage of ±40V, supporting a flexible data rate of 5Mbps for CAN FD, and has the capability of differential signal transmission between the bus and the CAN protocol controller. To reduce power consumption, the system enters low-power mode when the bus is idle, setting the SIT1044 into standby mode. When the SIT1044 detects three dominant, recessive, dominant levels on the bus that exceed tfilter_WAKE and the total time of these three levels is less than or equal to tdom_WAKE, the SIT1044 in standby mode will be awakened, at which point RXD follows the bus signal changes that exceed tfilter_WAKE; if the total time of the three dominant, recessive, dominant levels exceeds tdom_WAKE, the SIT1044 cannot be awakened, and RXD will continuously output a high level; the wake-up timing diagram is as follows:

Any interference signal level less than tfilter_WAKE will be filtered out by the chip’s filter. The definition of the tfilter_WAKE time is to ensure that the SIT1044 only safely and reliably receives wake-up signals, avoiding false triggers caused by bus interference. After the CAN controller receives the RXD signal, it can trigger the wake-up controller through software settings, further setting the SIT1044’s STB pin into normal working mode. In this wake-up mode, when all nodes on the bus are in sleep mode, as long as one node on the bus sends a signal, all nodes will be awakened.
