In RWA scenarios, the value and revenue of many real-world assets are closely related to their actual operating conditions, such as the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic power plants, the usage frequency of charging piles, and the maintenance status of real estate properties. IoT technology can deploy sensors and smart devices on these assets to collect operational data and status information in real-time, transmitting this data to a blockchain platform for storage and verification. After being processed by the blockchain’s immutable handling, this data becomes an important basis for assessing the value of RWA assets and calculating investment returns.

For example, in a photovoltaic power plant RWA project, installing IoT sensors on key equipment such as solar panels, inverters, and combiner boxes can collect real-time data on the power generation of the panels, the operational status of the inverters, environmental temperature, and light intensity.
