On the afternoon of the 13th, the practice team arrived at the Yan’an Revolutionary Memorial Museum as their first stop. The museum’s historical materials and restored scenes vividly showcase revolutionary history. The faculty and students systematically reviewed the arduous journey of the Central Committee leading the Chinese revolution from strategic defense to counterattack during the Anti-Japanese War at units such as the “Political Guidance Center of the Anti-Japanese War,” deeply understanding the struggles and brilliance of the Chinese Communist Party during its thirteen years in Yan’an..

The site director and cultural relic researcher Ran Chunyan conducted a live teaching session titled “Mao Zedong and Mao Anying’s Patriotism,” recounting the deep father-son bond between Mao Zedong and Mao Anying, showcasing their selfless dedication to the country and the people. The patriotic and self-sacrificing spirit contained in the phrase “Loyal bones lie buried everywhere in the green mountains; why need a horse’s hide to wrap the corpse?” deeply moved the faculty and students.

After the performance, Liu Ni, the Party Secretary of the Yan’an Revolutionary Memorial Museum and a member of the Party Committee of the Yan’an Revolutionary Site Management Bureau, gave a special lecture titled “The Spirit of the Anti-Japanese War in Songs,” using anti-Japanese war songs as the main thread to narrate the heroic deeds of Liu Haibin, a “Paul-like steel warrior,” and the background of the creation of “Yellow River Cantata.” Through this person and this song, the faculty and students deeply felt the greatness of the anti-Japanese spirit and its timeless legacy.

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that “the Yan’an spirit is a valuable spiritual asset of the Party and must be passed down from generation to generation.” This activity served as a vivid lesson in Party history education. Through this practice, students strengthened their belief in engaging in technological innovation and serving the country, expressing their intention to internalize the spirit of revolutionary predecessors in their hearts and externalize it in their actions, promoting the Party’s three fine traditions, and practicing the school motto of “Public Integrity, Courage, and Determination” in their studies and lives, striving to become “idealistic, responsible, hardworking, and willing to fight” new people of the era. The Computer College will continue to implement the practice education deployment, integrate red culture into ideological and political education, promote the normalization of Party history learning, and inspire students’ sense of responsibility and commitment.
