Nexcom has launched a safe humanoid robot controller based on the Nvidia Jetson Thor platform.
Taipei – Nexcom recently officially launched its revolutionary humanoid robot controller, the MARS400 T10, at the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Exhibition. This controller integrates AI computing, motion control, and Nexcom’s self-developed functional safety system, providing a modular and integrated solution for the robotics industry.
The MARS400 T10 is centered around the Nvidia Jetson Thor platform, supporting up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS of computing power, combined with CUDA-accelerated robotics libraries, significantly enhancing the efficiency of robots during development and operation. This single-platform architecture not only effectively reduces the latency and space requirements associated with multi-platform architectures but also significantly improves the smoothness of humanoid robot movements and operational duration, meeting the urgent demands of modern manufacturing for compact size and high performance. Additionally, this controller has received TÜV Rheinland’s 2024 functional safety certification, setting a benchmark in the field of modular robotic functional safety solutions, compliant with international safety standards EN 61508 and EN ISO 13849-1.
The launch of this new product demonstrates Nexcom’s continuous innovation capability in the field of safe artificial intelligence and robotics, and shows its profound layout for the future of the industry. Nexcom has also been invited to join Nvidia’s Halos AI system testing laboratory in Paris, further promoting high-standard safety development in the robotics field through in-depth cooperation.
During the exhibition, Nexcom showcased its diverse AI technology portfolio under the theme “Empowering Intelligent Manufacturing, Driving AI Breakthroughs.” This included breakthroughs in humanoid robotics and motion control, as well as innovative applications in IoT monitoring and digital twins, highlighting its strong capabilities in overall intelligent manufacturing solutions.
