1. Introduction to the New SDP Series
The SDP series laser distance sensor utilizes direct time-of-flight (dToF) technology and integrates a self-developed high-sensitivity infrared enhanced single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) sensor, with a measurement range of up to 50 meters (at 90% reflectivity). Its built-in time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) algorithm and fast time-to-digital converter (TDC) architecture achieve a repeatability of ±2mm and an absolute accuracy of ±20mm, ensuring stable operation even in 100KLux bright light environments. Additionally, the sensor features reflectivity correction, automatically adjusting for different reflectivity targets (10%-90%), ensuring measurement deviations are less than 5mm, meeting high-precision application requirements.
2. Multifunctional Output, Flexible Adaptation
The SDP series supports dual-channel switching output (PNP/NPN) and analog output (4-20mA), compatible with RS485 Modbus-RTU communication protocol, supporting up to 255 devices in parallel, facilitating large-scale system integration.

· The switching output supports three modes: upper limit alarm, lower limit alarm, and interval alarm, with a response time as fast as2ms, capable of real-time response to high-speed moving targets (speed < 15m/s).
· The analog output corresponds to0m to the upper limit of the range (configurable), with a maximum load of 250Ω, compatible with various industrial control systems.

3. Robust Design, Adaptable to Harsh Environments
The SDP series features an aluminum alloy housing with an IP65 protection rating, capable of stable operation in temperatures ranging from -20℃ to 60℃, with a wider storage temperature range (-40℃ to 85℃). Its compact size (44×44×69mm) and lightweight design (145g) facilitate installation, and it comes standard with a 2-meter shielded cable, effectively resisting electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the sensor has built-in reverse voltage protection, ensuring device safety in complex electrical environments.

The device is equipped with an OLED display that shows the measurement distance in real-time. Users can quickly configure parameters via buttons, such as switching threshold, analog range, device address (0-254), and communication baud rate (default 9600bps, adjustable to 115200bps). The unique reflectivity correction feature and distance offset setting (supporting ±1000mm adjustment) further enhance measurement flexibility and accuracy.
