Having clearly abandoned the flagship market, MediaTek has focused all its efforts on the mid-range and low-end markets, and it seems to have achieved considerable success.
Recently, MediaTek employee Selina_Ko subtly showcased a souvenir of the MediaTek Helio P70/P60 on Weibo, with images indicating that shipments of the Helio P60/P70 series have successfully surpassed 50 million units.
Both the Helio P60 and P70 are built using TSMC’s 12nm process, featuring four Cortex-A73 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores, with a Mali-G72 GPU that has seen upgrades in AI capabilities, including the addition of a dedicated NPU.
