Every time there is a PCB inquiry, many purchasers find it challenging to negotiate prices with PCB suppliers. This is because the process is not as straightforward as injection molding, stamping, casting, or die-casting. A simple online search yields a plethora of information, and the PCB industry has always quoted prices per square meter, similar to how batteries are priced by capacity. Without understanding the composition of PCB materials and the complete production process, it is difficult to know where to start.Based on this, I am gradually preparing to share my experiences over the years in the form of articles (approximately five installments, covering everything from materials to finished products). While it may not be entirely accurate, I believe that only by expressing these thoughts can I identify my shortcomings and improve myself more effectively and quickly. I welcome feedback from experienced individuals regarding any inaccuracies in the text. Additionally, some of the photos or images in the article are sourced from the internet; I apologize for any offense and can remove them upon request.Furthermore, I have created a simple bilingual (Chinese-English) Excel spreadsheet for quick calculations based on conventional 2-6 layer standard hard boards, with a TG value ranging from 130 to 150, surface treatments including OSP, HASL, gold plating, silver plating, number of drill holes, and thickness of inner layer copper.
