How to Apply to NPU Online (Non-Degree)

Step 2: Click “Register” button and register your own account. The registered account must be your valid E-mail since the admission officer will inform all issues regarding the application via this E-mail.

The fields marked with a red star are mandatory; if you do not complete these, you cannot proceed to the next step.Please do not fill in “scholarship” or “Northwestern Polytechnical University” for the financial support section, but rather indicate a third party that can guarantee the payment of the relevant fees. After completing, click the “Save and Next” button.

Step 8: Select Scholarship/Self-paying and click the “Next” button. For the Chinese language program and International foundation program (also called Preparatory program), you can apply for Xi’an City “The Belt and Road” International Students Scholarship, which requires a minimum learning period of 10 months. The scholarship will provide a subsidy of 10,000 yuan per year. Students who receive the scholarship still need to pay tuition and other relevant fees. Applicants for the scholarship will be interviewed by the admission team.

Students interested in applying for the Chinese language program and the International Foundation Program can apply for the Xi’an “Belt and Road” International Students Scholarship, which offers a subsidy of 10,000 yuan per year and requires at least 10 months of study. Students awarded the scholarship will still need to pay tuition and other relevant fees. Scholarship applicants will be interviewed by the admission team.

Step 9: Pay the application fee. You can choose a credit card or debit card. Bank transfer is also accepted. If you choose bank transfer, you need to upload your receipt on the online system. The admission office will check your receipt and decide if it is valid during weekdays. If your receipt status has not changed after three weekdays, you can contact us via email. All students applying to NPU must pay the application fee.
