Li Jiping, a 66-year-old resident of Anren Community in Anjia Street, has just completed a calligraphy piece, and several elderly individuals nearby are praising her work. “Before, I would just watch TV or stare blankly at home. Now, I come here every day to write and paint. We old friends gather together, and life feels fulfilling and joyful,” Li Jiping said with a smile.
Meanwhile, the Embedded Home Care Service Center in Fugou Street, Xi’an District, Liao Yuan City is also bustling with activity. “I have lived here for three years. Every day I can play chess, create art, and enjoy nutritious meals. The caregivers are as caring as my own daughters; life here is truly comfortable!” said 77-year-old Zhao Suqin, her words filled with happiness.
In recent years, Xi’an District of Liao Yuan City has actively explored new models of embedded elderly care services, striving to broaden new paths for elderly care services, optimizing the “1+N” model of elderly care service supply, and forming a development model based on “home as the foundation, community as the support, and extensive participation of social workers and organizations.”
