August Work Updates
The Wenchang Community, branded as “Heartfelt Wenchang”, adheres to the philosophy of “Joyful and Practical, Welcoming and Good”, providing comprehensive warm-hearted services and forming a self-governing model of “Warmth for the People, Solutions for the People”. It insists on party leadership, achieving co-governance among the Party Committee, neighborhood committee, property management, and residents; introducing social organizations, incubating community teams, and carrying out a series of activities to ensure that “when the people call, I must respond”.

Daily Work
Community service is a service at the doorstep of the people, related to people’s livelihoods and connected to their hearts. Wenchang Community insists on a service-oriented approach, continuously strengthening service awareness, cultivating and developing community organizations, achieving the task of connecting residents to a better life, and promoting positive interaction between community governance and social regulation, as well as resident autonomy.
To stimulate the reading interest of community residents and children, creating a strong atmosphere of reading, and making reading a part of community life, on July 31, Wenchang Community held a unique nationwide reading activity in the community library.
To celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, to remember historical glory, inherit the red gene, and continue the red bloodline, on August 1, the Wenchang Community Party Branch organized retired soldiers and party members in the area to collectively watch the red-themed film “The Eight Hundred”, commemorating revolutionary history and paying tribute to the most lovable people.
From August 8 to August 10, Wenchang Community conducted a re-inspection, re-posting, and re-notification of the “Nine Small Places” in the area.
On August 13, to further promote aesthetic education in the community, enliven the cultural atmosphere, cultivate neighborly friendship through reading, and build a platform for residents to share and communicate, Wenchang Community held the “Fragrant Books Nourish Hearts, Joyful Reading Sharing” nationwide reading activity. Residents draw strength from words and enhance understanding through sharing, allowing the fragrance of books to enter every home and deepening neighborly ties through reading.
On August 13, to enrich residents’ summer life and enhance the cultural atmosphere of the community, Wenchang Community held a summer public film screening activity.
On August 20, to continuously enhance the employment and entrepreneurship skills of women, promote more women to achieve flexible employment, and further push for the professional and standardized development of elderly care services, Wenchang Community conducted special skills training activities in housekeeping and elderly care.
On August 21, Wenchang Community invited university volunteers from the area to hold the “Little Sudoku Wisdom Star” activity, exploring the educational model of “community, university, family” and building a bridge between college students and community children, allowing university educational resources to truly benefit community residents and creating a win-win situation for knowledge transfer and community integration.
On August 25, Wenchang Community conducted a public film screening activity in Wenchang Garden Community.
From August 25 to August 29, Wenchang Community conducted another safety production re-inspection of the “Nine Small Places”.
