U.S. Sky Eye - Space-Based Sensors for Hypersonic Weapon Defense System (012-013)

012 Characteristics of the basic components of the wide-field detection sensor;

The sensor elements of the wide-field capture detector are made of silicon, with an operating temperature of 77K, and utilize a surface-embossed microstructure coating developed by TelAztec to improve the anti-reflective (AR) glass process, enhancing the spatial durability of the AR coating while also improving assembly. The wide-field capture sensor is used to quickly capture and track the infrared plume generated by the boost phase and terminal boost phase of ballistic missiles, while providing high-resolution positioning to guide the tracking detector.

013 A new type of AR coating developed by TelAztec;

The new AR coating developed by TelAztec increases the quantum efficiency in the blue light region by 20%. The narrow-field tracking detector is equipped with a gimbal, allowing it to quickly pivot and track targets once detected by the wide-field capture detector, with detection capabilities both above the horizon (ATH) and below the horizon (BTH), with a field of view of approximately 3°.
