AI-Themed Ceremony Kicks Off an Innovative Journey
On September 1, 2025, the Guanggu No. 1 Primary School in Wuhan kicked off a new semester with a ceremony blending technology and warmth. The theme of this ceremony was “AI Accompanies My Growth · Technology Builds Dreams and Soars,” integrating immersive technological interaction with solemn rituals, presenting a unique innovative event for all teachers and students.
This is a special start to the school year, with gentle September rain falling, meeting the vibrant campus of the primary school, where warmth and vitality are everywhere.
In the morning, the campus resembled a fascinating technological paradise, where wisdom and imagination quietly merged. In the corridor of the Learning Building, the school’s robotics club introduced several special “new classmates”—conversational humanoid robots, agile rolling Alpha robotic dogs, and task-executing robotic cars, attracting many students to stop and interact. The children either observed carefully, excitedly asked questions, or tried to give commands, experiencing the charm of technology up close.
The concurrently held “AI Dream Roulette” cleverly combined technology with messages. Students spun a large wheel containing AI characteristics, receiving new semester messages such as “Innovative Exploration” and “Algorithmic Thinking.” Each spin was a hope for the future; each message infused wisdom into their growth.
Human-Machine Interaction, Igniting a New Journey
After the solemn flag-raising ceremony, a futuristic opening dance titled “Mechanical Rhythm” ignited the atmosphere. The school’s cheerleading team showcased robotic-like dance moves, demonstrating the beauty of the fusion of technology and art, symbolizing the official “start” of the new semester.
The subsequent skit titled “AI Dreamer—Our Robot Growth Diary” realistically portrayed the journey of the AI club from the germination of ideas, through setbacks, to eventual success. The heartfelt performances of the young actors deeply instilled the spirit of “perseverance and collaboration” in the audience.
Messages from the Secretary, Dreaming of the Future with Intelligence
Secretary Li Ling delivered a heartfelt speech themed “Be the Dream Builder in the AI Era.” She encouraged students to “use AI as a magnifying glass to discover the small wonders of the world; be good partners with AI to build a stage for dreams; and guard the starlight of original intentions to illuminate the warmth of growth,” urging everyone to make good use of AI tools and protect their pure intentions, becoming creators of the new era. Her words were warm and powerful, injecting sincere warmth and strength into the children’s technological dreams.
This opening ceremony was not only a ritual but also a vivid lesson in technological enlightenment. Wisdom and dreams converged here, and innovation and the future embarked from this point. Through technological empowerment and innovative leadership, the school supports every child in embracing the intelligent era and stepping into a broad future.
