On November 13, in the electroplating workshop of Guangxi Mark Circuit Co., Ltd. at the Guigang Xijiang Industrial Park, machines roared, production lines operated at high speed, and intelligent electroplating equipment ran efficiently, with workers orderly performing their tasks.
“In June this year, during trial production, our output was only 5,000 square meters. Now, with full production, our monthly output can reach 40,000 square meters. Currently, the company’s production maintains a steady development trend,” said Lin Dongkun, Deputy General Manager of Guangxi Mark Circuit Co., Ltd., confidently during an interview.
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is the carrier of electronic components, also known as the “mother of electronic products.” In recent years, as part of the three-year action plan for industrial transformation and upgrading, Gangbei District has planned to focus on the PCB industry, developing it as a key industry to foster an electronic information industry cluster.
In 2018, with the establishment of Guigang Jiaruifu Precision Circuit Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the first PCB company was set up in the city. The production launch of Jiaruifu has accelerated the gathering of PCB industries in Guigang, with a number of electronic information companies such as Wanjie Electronics, Benteng Circuit, Rongsheng Circuit, Mark Circuit, and Jiubao Circuit subsequently settling in Gangbei. According to data from the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau, as of October this year, the city has introduced 34 PCB companies, including 2 in Guiping City, 5 in Pingnan County, 23 in Gangbei District, 1 in Gangnan District, and 3 in Qintang District.
At 10:30 AM, in the packaging workshop of Guangxi Mark Circuit Co., Ltd., workers were packing finished PCBs. “We have 9 production lines, mainly producing circuit boards for mobile phones, electronic connectors, and smart wearable products,” Lin Dongkun said, holding up a circuit board product for the reporter to see. Each circuit board is only the size of a fingernail. From June to October this year, the company’s output value reached 40 million yuan, with a total output of 110,000 square meters, of which 20% of the products were exported to Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
Not far from Mark Circuit Company, the production workshop of Guangxi Jiubao Circuit Co., Ltd. is also operating at high speed. The difference is that the PCB products produced by Jiubao Circuit are mainly used in high-end application fields such as automotive lighting, marine searchlights, and power thick copper plates. With excellent stability, heat dissipation, and durability, the company’s products not only cover mainstream high-end manufacturing enterprises in China but have also successfully entered the European and American markets, with exports accounting for one-third of their output.
Liang Changbo, General Manager of Jiubao Circuit Company, introduced that the company began trial production in February this year and entered normal production in the second half of the year, with sales expected to exceed 7 million yuan in November, and production capacity steadily increasing.

The cluster development of the PCB industry benefits from the improvement of supporting facilities in the industrial park and the enhancement of comprehensive management and service capabilities.
At the entrance of the Xijiang Industrial Park, a water supply pipeline is taking shape. “With this new water pipe, the quality of our produced products is more stable,” Lin Dongkun told reporters. Guangxi has one-third of its surface area covered by karst landforms, and the high calcium content in underground water can easily affect the quality of copper products, leading to instability in product quality and increased production costs. To solve the water supply issue for production, the park coordinated various parties, and in October this year, the construction of the water supply pipeline officially commenced, expected to be completed by February 2026, which will effectively resolve the water supply difficulties for enterprises.
The steady development of the PCB industry also relies on the support of the Gangbei District Party Committee, government, and relevant units. Liang Changbo recalled that Gangbei District formed a special team to undertake PCB industry projects, providing strong support in areas such as permit procedures, environmental impact assessments, logistics transportation, and financial assistance, allowing enterprises to handle all production procedures without leaving their premises.
“Currently, the company’s orders are stable, material preparations are sufficient, and production lines are operating at full speed to meet orders,” Liang Changbo said. In the next step, the company will continue to expand production capacity, optimize product structure, and strive to achieve a monthly sales target of 10 million yuan by the end of this year.
In recent years, Gangbei District has placed great importance on attracting investment in the PCB industry, making every effort to solve the issues related to the establishment of enterprises. The district has implemented the “Gangbei District Investment Consultant Reward Measures (Trial)” and adopted various models such as stationed investment promotion, business-driven investment, and scenario-based investment. So far, 23 PCB and its upstream and downstream enterprises have been signed, including 18 PCB production enterprises, with 12 under construction and 5 in production; and 5 upstream and downstream enterprises, with 4 in production and 1 under construction, initially forming an industrial chain of “upstream support – PCB manufacturing – downstream application.”
According to the needs of industrial development, Gangbei District has laid out about 1,200 acres for the Guigang Electronic Circuit Information Industrial Park, and has now planned and constructed Li River Park and Niuhe Park, along with supporting facilities such as sewage treatment plants and solid waste storage. Once Li River Park and Niuhe Park are completed, they are expected to achieve an annual output value of 7.2 billion yuan, an annual tax revenue of 720 million yuan, and create approximately 1,820 new jobs.
