OPPO TV Remote Control Infrared and Bluetooth Modes Explained

All OPPO TV remote controls feature an infrared mode, and all models support infrared remote control.

1. The OPPO smart TV remote control supports both infrared and Bluetooth modes.

2. When the remote control is not paired, it operates in infrared mode, and the TV supports infrared remote control. After pairing the remote control via Bluetooth, it switches to Bluetooth mode for control.

3. The standby button on the remote control always operates in infrared mode. When the TV is in standby, it can only respond to infrared remote control, meaning it can only be turned on using the remote control.

4. The mobile TV assistant cannot turn on the TV because the phone and TV are connected via Bluetooth, and the TV cannot establish a Bluetooth connection with the phone while in standby mode. Therefore, it cannot respond. After the TV is turned on with the remote, the phone and TV can establish the connection again, allowing the TV assistant to continue controlling the TV.

5. Note: If the OPPO TV does not turn on after pressing the standby button on the remote control, check if the remote control’s infrared function is working properly.
