New PCB Charge-Type High-Temperature Pressure Sensor – 176A31

New PCB Charge-Type High-Temperature Pressure Sensor – 176A31

UtilizingUHT-12TM piezoelectric crystal, the pressure sensor

is suitable for high-temperature engine testing

PCB Piezotronics has launched a new pressure sensor model 176A31 that can be used for high-temperature engine testing. The main feature of this sensor is the use of UHT-12TM sensing element, with an operating temperature up to 760°C (1400°F), without the need for helium or water cooling. This new sensor will be an ideal choice for customers who require engine combustion testing and gas turbine measurements at high temperatures.

New PCB Charge-Type High-Temperature Pressure Sensor - 176A31

The 176A31 Sensor is a charge output type pressure sensor utilizingUHT-12TM crystal as the sensing element, assembled with an M14 adapter, which has the same installation dimensions as the 123Bxx series water-cooled pressure sensors. Additionally, the 176A31 can continuously operate at 760°C (1400°F) with a range of 3000 psi (206 bar) and a maximum pressure of 5200 psi (358 bar). The sensor connects with a 3-foot long rigid cable, equipped with a 7/16-27 two-pin connector, operating at temperatures up to 482°C (900°F).
