It is reported that the installation of this LED screen was done without prior approval, and if the approval had been obtained, the issue of light pollution could have been technically avoided.

The hazards of light pollution from LED display screens and the corresponding countermeasures
Intense light exposure at night can disrupt the human biological clock, affecting sleep quality, and may lead to insomnia, anxiety, and other issues in the long term. For example, adjusting brightness: using a system that can automatically adjust brightness based on environmental light levels to avoid excessive brightness at night.Flicker suppression: Utilizing high-frequency driving technology to reduce flicker in LED light sources, thereby minimizing stimulation to the human eye. Light control: By designing appropriately, controlling the angle and range of light emission to reduce scattering and overflow of light.
In addition to manufacturers’ self-awareness, commercial entities should also operate sustainably, enhancing their responsibility for the light environment, and reasonably setting up advertising screens in accordance with regulations to promote the harmonious coexistence of commercial civilization and residential environments.
Furthermore, relevant departments should strengthen the supervision of the installation, use, and maintenance of LED devices, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
