Introduction to Robotics (AI Building + Programming) Course

1. Training Objectives:

The robotics course training covers multidisciplinary knowledge from engineering to computing, from sensing to control, cultivating students’ ability to integrate multidisciplinary knowledge. By solving specific engineering and scientific problems, it enhances students’ engineering thinking, computational thinking, and creative thinking. Through hands-on project implementation, students improve their practical skills, problem analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

Professional study is divided into four stages: artificial intelligence technology building, sensor control programming, mobile car, and working vehicle, with each stage consisting of two semesters. Each stage corresponds to levels one to four of youth artificial intelligence technology. Upon completing the corresponding stage, students can take the corresponding level of artificial intelligence technology proficiency test.

This course is suitable for students from grade one to grade seven, starting from zero foundation, aiming to cultivate and discover a group of talented individuals proficient in computer science and advanced backup talents.

Member of the Communist Party, first-level teacher, qualified teacher for national youth artificial intelligence technology levels one and two. Has over 20 years of experience teaching information technology, advocating for joyful learning and effective thinking. Focused on cultivating children’s interests and guiding them to explore actively, striving to enhance their problem analysis and solving abilities. Many students have achieved first prizes at district and city levels under his guidance, with several papers and teaching reform projects awarded at district and city levels.

Teacher Wang

Qualified teacher for national youth artificial intelligence technology levels one and two, teacher at Shaoxing City Guan Ning Experimental Primary School, member of the Zhou Xue Dong Special Teacher Studio. Awarded second prize in the Shaoxing City Teacher Robotics Skills Competition and recognized as an advanced worker in the district education and sports system. Currently mainly responsible for AI and mbot car learning course guidance.

Teacher Shen

Currently the Director of the Current Teaching Office at Shaoxing City Keqiao District Experimental Middle School, first-level information technology teacher. Has led students to participate in various competitions in information technology, 3D printing, robotics, computer drawing, and maker challenges, achieving numerous first prizes at the city level and above. For instance, in 2014, several students, including Chen Zhitong, won first prize in the Zhejiang Division of the Informatics Olympiad and were admitted to Peking University with lowered scores. In the 2020 Zhejiang Youth Vehicle Model Championship finals, student Jin Zeyu achieved first place in the electric road car racing. The Cool Play Team, composed of students Song Zhangshuo, Hu Enyi, and Wei Wuxin, won first prize (third place) in the VEX IQ group at the 2020 World Robot Competition – National Finals of the Youth Robot Design Competition. While guiding students in various competitions, he has also maintained his professional development, with numerous papers awarded in city-level competitions, and his work in modern educational technology and network management has received multiple accolades. He has been responsible for the creation of the first batch of robot teaching demonstration schools in Zhejiang Province and the modernization of Shaoxing City schools, receiving numerous honors such as Outstanding Network Administrator in Shaoxing City, Excellent Communist Party Member in the District Education and Sports System, and Advanced Worker in the District Education and Sports System.

Teacher Yu

Elementary information technology teacher. Has received honors such as Outstanding Party Member in Keqiao District, Outstanding Young Teacher, and First-Star Teacher. Won first prize in the district quality class evaluation and city teacher multimedia self-made works competition. She firmly believes that teachers are the “engineers of human souls” and that only by adhering to one’s ideals can one “sail through the wind and waves and reach the vast sea”.

Teacher Sun

The electronic production club he leads has won first, second, and third place nationally and first place multiple times at the provincial level; guided students to win first prize in the 2021 Zhejiang Vehicle Modeling Competition and multiple second and third prizes; coached students who participated in the 2018 Provincial and National Youth Electronic Production Championship, winning numerous national first and second prizes. In the 2019 Zhejiang Provincial Electronic Production Competition, his coaching team won first and third place in multiple events. Several papers have been published in national and provincial magazines, and the television station he participated in was rated as one of the top ten television stations in Shaoxing City.
