Content Description This invention relates to the field of gas meters and remote communication technology, particularly an intelligent remote gas meter based on LORAWAN technology. Background of the Invention Many traditional wireless systems use Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) modulation as the physical layer because it is a very effective modulation for achieving low power consumption. LoRa is based on linear frequency modulation and spread spectrum modulation for establishing long-distance communication links. It maintains the same low power characteristics as FSK modulation but significantly increases communication distance. Linear spread spectrum has been used in military and space communication for decades due to its ability to achieve long communication distances and robustness against interference, but LoRa is the first low-cost implementation for commercial use. LoRaWAN defines the communication protocol and system architecture of the network based on LoRa, enabling long-distance communication links and making this technology one of the important branches of Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN). This technology can be widely applied in various scenarios of long-distance low-rate IoT wireless communication, such as automatic meter reading, building automation devices, wireless security systems, industrial monitoring and control, etc. It features a small size, low power consumption, long transmission distance, and strong anti-interference ability, and the antenna gain can be adjusted according to actual application conditions. Content of the Invention The purpose of this invention is to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art and to provide an intelligent gas meter with an added LORAWAN communication module, enabling the intelligent gas meter to interact with the LORAWAN network and management system based on linear spread spectrum technology for data exchange, achieving remote data detection, operation control, and abnormal reporting management functions of the intelligent remote gas meter based on LORAWAN technology.

The figure shows the structural diagram of the intelligent remote gas meter of this invention. The technical solution adopted by this invention is: an intelligent remote gas meter based on LORAWAN technology, including a LORAWAN communication module, CPU module, power management module, flow detection module, IC card socket module, alarm prompt module, and RTC module; the CPU module is connected to the LORAWAN communication module, power management module, flow detection module, IC card socket module, alarm prompt module, and RTC module. The LORAWAN communication module is a hardware integration of a control chip and a network SUB 1G transceiver chip, with software embedding the network communication protocol, used for wireless signal transmission and reception; the CPU module is used for controlling the program, operating parameters of the intelligent gas meter, storing key data, and controlling the LORAWAN communication module to communicate according to the program settings; the flow monitoring module is used to detect the flow of gas and send signals to the CPU module; the power management module supplies power to each module of the gas meter; the IC card socket module reads and writes data from the IC card installed in the IC card socket through the IC card read-write circuit, and delivers data between the IC card socket module and the CPU; the alarm prompt module is used to prompt user operations, display important data, and alarm and prompt for abnormal operations and gas meter failures; the RTC module provides a real-time clock for tiered billing and timing control of the gas meter. The alarm prompt module includes an audible and visual alarm device. The beneficial effect of this invention is that it provides an intelligent remote gas meter based on LORAWAN technology, which has a simple structure, and by adding a LORAWAN communication module to the original intelligent gas meter along with the necessary software, connection can be achieved; since the LORAWAN network is built by telecom operators, the communication part of this gas meter is easy to operate and maintain. This invention uses LORAWAN technology as the basis for intelligent gas meters to interact with the management system based on linear spread spectrum technology, achieving remote data detection, operation control, and abnormal reporting management functions; combined with dedicated software control, the gas meter can autonomously achieve intelligent functions such as billing, abnormal detection, alarm prompts, and automatic operation.
