
Recently, Horsinhe Coal Industry held a professional training session on the field calibration methods for methane sensors for all technical and safety management personnel at the coal preparation plant. This training aimed to enhance employees’ professional skills in the use, calibration, and maintenance of methane sensors, ensuring a safe and stable production environment at the coal preparation plant.

The training course provided a detailed introduction to the working principles, performance indicators, and daily inspection and maintenance methods of methane sensors. Through on-site operational demonstrations, participants were able to engage in the calibration processes, including zero-point calibration, accuracy calibration, and response time testing, ensuring that each trainee mastered the correct calibration procedures and standards.
By combining theory with practical teaching methods, participants gained a deeper understanding of the field calibration of methane sensors, and their practical operational skills were enhanced. Many expressed their intention to apply the knowledge gained in their daily work to ensure that methane sensors maintain optimal working conditions, providing strong technical support for safe coal mining operations and promoting the improvement of safety management levels at Horsinhe Coal Industry.
