Exploring Shanghai Xinshi’s Sigriner Omega Series Servo Drives

Brand Introduction

Founded in 1982, German Sigriner focuses on the development of drive and control product technologies, currently operating two factories in Altoeting and Neuoeting.
In 2003, Sigriner successfully partnered with Shanghai Xinshi Electric Co., Ltd., marking a new milestone for STEP Sigriner Elektronik GmbH. In 2016, with the wave of Industry 4.0 reaching China, they collaborated with local technical teams to develop the Omega series servo drive products.
The Omega series products from Sigriner incorporate core German drive and control technologies, blending with the intelligent manufacturing concepts of Chinese factories to provide users with an exceptional driving and control product experience and ultimate solutions.
Product Introduction

Sigriner has launched four uniquely featured servo control products, detailed as follows:
a. Multi-Axis Ωm-N1 Series
The Ωm-N1 series servo drives are a multi-axis product introduced by Sigriner, supporting EtherCAT bus communication. It includes a rectifier unit (AC200V), three-axis integrated and four-axis integrated drive units (DC300V). The Ωm-N1 products are available in both open-frame and enclosed versions, catering to different application scenarios.

Main features and technical specifications of the multi-axis Ωm-N1 series are as follows:
l Four-axis integrated servo unit, strong driving capability, wide axis control range
l Total output power can reach 5.5KW
l Common DC bus power architecture, supports multi-drive unit cascading power supply, equipped with 200V level 1KW / 3KW and above rectifier units based on different applications.
l Multi-axis coordinated motion, powerful functionality, easy to use
l Bus-type servo, strong anti-interference capability, high synchronization performance, good expansion capability
l Easy installation, space-saving
l Compact size, easily handled with one hand
l Frequency response of 3.5KHz
l Powerful vibration suppression capabilities
l Notch filter: suppresses mechanical resonance at 5~600Hz
l End vibration suppression: suppresses end vibrations below 100Hz
b. Single-Axis Ωs-EN1 Series
The Ωs-EN1 series servo drives can cover servo motors with power ranging from 0.2kW to 22kW. It supports EtherCAT, PowerLink, and CANOpen bus communication, with a communication speed of 100Mbps; capable of precise position, speed, and torque control, boasting excellent control performance. It adopts European-derived operational methods and wiring layouts, equipped with internationally standard servo safety features (STO/SS1/SS2/SBC).

Functional features and technical specifications of the Ωs-EN1 series are as follows:
l Current control cycle of 50μs
l Position control cycle of 100μs
l Current loop frequency response of 2.5KHz
l PWM synchronization accuracy < 0.1μs
l Equipped with internationally standard safety control features

c. Single-Axis Ωs-AN1 Series
The Ωs-AN1 series servo drives can cover servo motors with power ranging from 0.2kW to 7.5kW. It supports EtherCAT and CANOpen bus communication, with a communication speed of 100Mbps; current loop frequency response of 2kHz, speed loop frequency response of 1.6kHz; capable of precise position, speed, and torque control, with excellent control performance and reliable safety strategies. The wiring and operational methods align with the usage habits of Asian users.

d. Single-Axis Ωs-AP1 Series
The Ωs-AP1 series servo drives can cover servo motors with power ranging from 0.2kW to 7.5kW. They utilize pulse control, with a maximum of 4MPulse/s high-speed pulse input interface (differential signal), and up to 500KPulse/s low-speed pulse input interface (optocoupler circuit); using FPGA hardware current loop technology, the current loop response is enhanced to 2.5kHz, speed loop frequency response is 1.6kHz; capable of precise position, speed, and torque control, employing advanced motor control algorithms for faster system responsiveness.

Case Sharing

Sigriner focuses on drive control, integrating related interface devices to provide comprehensive automation control solutions, meeting the needs of various niche industry customers. For instance, in the robotics industry requiring rapid response with strong short-term overload capabilities; in the LED spectrometer industry with high inertia and rigidity requirements; in the 3C industry known for short cycles and high precision; and in the CNC industry known for high accuracy and quality.
