In the face of emerging applications such as artificial intelligence (AI) and human-machine interaction, we need to collect various analog environmental data, transforming, analyzing, and learning from it, so that the system can make predictable and accurate responses based on changes in the environment. In this process, achieving precise measurement in analog-to-digital conversion is a key aspect, and to achieve this goal, a voltage reference source that is unaffected by input voltage or environmental temperature, and does not fluctuate with the system, is essential.
A voltage reference source is a precision analog device specifically designed to maintain a constant output voltage, even when environmental temperature or supply voltage changes, allowing other ICs to reference this voltage standard for measurements with the desired accuracy. With its high precision characteristics, the voltage reference source can also shine in other application scenarios besides data converters.
In this video lecture, experts from Texas Instruments (TI) will explain in detail the impact of key specifications such as power consumption, noise, temperature coefficient, and accuracy of voltage references on system performance in practical application designs, while also introducing TI’s next-generation high-performance voltage reference products and their rich application scenarios.
